Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
You will be picked up this morning from a predetermined place in Nairobi, after which you will travel by road across the picturesque Athi Plains and into the bushland of Amboseli National Park, which is known for its enormous herds of elephants and is home to the fabled Masai tribesmen. Arrive at your hotel in time for lunch, then take a game drive in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Majaro camp. Budget tented camp bordering Amboseli NP without fences Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
We leave early for an exciting game drive and superb views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds cover the summit. Amboseli is a great location to see a wide variety of species, including wildebeest, giraffes, and baboons. We arrive at our lodge around midday for lunch, a siesta, and a late-afternoon game run. Nearly every view in the park, in addition to the elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and elusive leopard, is framed by the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Dinner and overnight stay at Manjaro Amboseli. Budget tented camp bordering Amboseli NP without fences All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
Take a drive to Lake Naivasha in the morning. Of all the lakes in the Rif Valley, it is both the highest and most stunning. At 1910m (6200f), the lake is surrounded by lush papyrus clumps and the water is fresh (ancient Egyptians once used this to make paper). Herons hide in the papyrus while scavenging for food, and kingfishers use it as a perch. Another famous location for bird watching is Naivasha (over 400species have been recorded). Residents of Nairobi frequently escape here on the weekends to sail, water ski, and fish. Because of the altitude, there are many hippos rather than crocodiles in the lake because the water is too cold for them. Arriving in time for lunch, rest at afternoon, overnight at the resort. Budget hotel located near Lake Naivasha (Naivasha) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
Head to the Masai Mara National Reserve first thing in the morning. Arrive in time for lunch, then go on a game drive in the late afternoon. One of the only locations on earth where wildlife continues to coexists in the same abundance as when it formerly roamed the African plains and woods is the Mara. The stunning seasonal migration of numerous thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and accompanying predators takes place in the Mara, which serves as the northernmost point of the huge Serengeti ecosystem. Dinner and overnight stay at Aa Lodge Mara. Budget tented camp located less than 1hr drive from Masai Mara NR All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
We'll go on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch after breakfast. One of the few areas where it's feasible to view the Big Five during a morning game drive, the reserve is well recognized for its black-manned lions, as well as its abundance of resident animals. Numerous cheetahs are so docile that they would seek cover from the blazing sun under a person's car, and some will even climb onto the roof to obtain a better view of potential prey. Nearly 500 species of birds have been identified, including 9 species of sunbirds, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 16 species of eagles (including the kori bustard, the largest flying bird in the world), several hawks and falcons, 16 species of vultures, and 16 species of eagles. Dinner and overnight stay Aa Lodge Mara. Budget tented camp located less than 1hr drive from Masai Mara NR All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
Have a morning game drive, back to the camp for breakfast. Then later head to Nairobi which is our final destination for this Kenya safari package. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

We just returned from an unforgettable trip to Kenya, and we can highly recommend Tierras Africa Safaris! From the moment we landed, the owner of the company David, and our personal guide Peter made us feel at home and made this a truly magical trip! Our journey began in Nairobi, where we explored the Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre, and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to meet some adorable, orphaned elephants. The highlights of our trip were definitely the multiple safaris in Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Maasai Mara. Our night’s stay in Aberdares at the Ark was amazing. We also had the chance to visit a Maasai village. The cultural exchange was enriching, and it was inspiring to learn about their traditions and way of life. All were bucket-list experiences that exceeded all expectations. The sheer beauty of the landscapes and the thrill of spotting the big 5 and the special 5 and so much more, in their natural habitat left us in awe. Our guide Peter was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and ecosystem. Peter went above and beyond in order for us to have an amazing experience. His relationship with the other guides made it possible for us to see tons of unique events in real time. The accommodations were comfortable and offered a perfect blend of luxury and authenticity. If you’re considering a trip to Kenya, go for it and book with Tierras Africa Safaris!
