Day 1
Morning departure from Nairobi as early as 06:00 am (approx. 2-3 hours drive to Loita Plains (Maji Moto Eco Camp) for a morning guided cultural walking safari & bush nature, accompanied by our local Maasai guides. Immersive Perspective: Walking allows you to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the bush, offering a different, slower-paced, and more in-depth experience than traditional, vehicle-based safaris. The walk is led by an expert local Masai guide who understands the Loita plains. Lunch break will be at the Maji Moto Eco Camp, which is a small, environmentally sensitive retreat. Operated by Masai people from the nearby village of Maji Moto, a stay here will immerse you not only in the intense natural beauty of the Loita Hills, but also in the ancient culture and knowledge of the Masai. Safari is not only about viewing wildlife, but also about visiting different places that make your trip magical and create breathtaking memories. Budget tented camp located in Loita Hills (Mountain Range) Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
This morning, I recommend an early breakfast to be served at Maji Moto Eco Camp. Thereafter, depart and drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve (62 km away from Maji Moto Camp) for a full day of game viewing. Parked Lunch boxes will be served within the park. Late afternoon is scheduled until 18:00 hrs. Exit the park for a night at the selected accommodation on a full board basis. The Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya is world-famous as a premier safari destination, primarily for hosting the annual Great Migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles from July to October. It is renowned for its high concentration of big cats—lions, leopards, and cheetahs—and its status as a top "Big Five" viewing location. Despite the well-known wildlife exodus, the park is visited all year-round, making it (Maasai Mara Game Reserve) a must-visit park while visiting Kenya. Budget tented camp located less than 1hr drive from Masai Mara NR All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
This morning, soon after breakfast, depart and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. It is a premier Kenyan safari destination, famous as a sanctuary for endangered white and black rhinos, and millions of flamingos that turn the lake shores pink. Offering compact, high-density wildlife viewing, The park is iconic for hosting thousands to millions of lesser and greater flamingos, which feed on the algae-rich, shallow alkaline waters, earning it the nickname "pink lake". Beyond flamingos, it is home to over 400 species of birds and over 50 mammal species, including rare Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, lions, and leopards. Unesco World Heritage Site: Designated for its immense natural value, the lake is part of the Kenya Lake System, recognized for its outstanding, diverse natural habitats, and it is a Ramsar wetland site. The park is relatively small, offering a high-density, accessible, and quick safari experience compared to larger, more spread-out national parks. Mid-range hotel located less than 1hr drive from Lake Nakuru NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
This morning, soon after breakfast, depart and drive to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its massive elephant herds and its seriously stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro – it's the perfect backdrop for just about every photo you take within the park. Arrive in good time for an early lunch, and perhaps a siesta. An afternoon is scheduled from 16:00 hours to 18:30 hours. Amboseli National Park is world-renowned as the premier destination for getting up close to massive herds of free-ranging African elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. Key attractions include Observation Hill for panoramic views, lush swamps teeming with wildlife, and diverse habitats ranging from dry lake beds to acacia woodlands. The rest of the evening will be at Leisure on a full board basis at the selected accommodation. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another extensive game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest, Giraffes, and Baboons. Maasai warriors are famously known as a proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. The rest of the evening at the selected accommodation. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
This morning, soon after breakfast, drive to Nairobi, where the safari ends in good time. This will then. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Our experience with Back of Africa Adventure was absolutely fantastic! Communication was smooth and professional from the start—every question was answered promptly and thoroughly. The service was outstanding, with a friendly and well-organized team that went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. The value for money was excellent, as the tour was perfectly planned with incredible experiences. What impressed us the most was their reliability and dedication. The organizer was always available to help us with any questions, responding immediately. When we had an issue upon arrival at the airport, we called him privately, and he assisted us right away, which we truly appreciated. The safari itself was breathtaking, with amazing wildlife sightings and stunning landscapes. Our driver was fantastic—he was extremely friendly, spoke excellent English, and put in great effort to find and show us as many animals as possible. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. Everything was perfectly organized, and we felt well taken care of throughout the journey. We highly recommend Back of Africa Adventure to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari!

We had a fantastic, incredible, fun trip to Kenya - all the superlatives! We went to five camps and Allan planned the trip perfectly, particularly the order of our itinerary, The destinations and accommodations were great too. Our tour guide and drvier Hudson Obindi. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful throughout the entire trip. every time he stoped at a very good position to help us to view animal more clean. We did saw the great migration as waves of wildebeest and zebras make their journey to crossed Mara river. We saw millions of Flamingos in BoGoria lake. Of cause many many animals like big five. We traveling in different landscapes, we went Hells Gate National park onto Lions Hill and also down the deep trenches there. we really satisfied for their operation and they are highly recommended.

I started planning this trip in September of 2022 for 14 people. We customized the trip for the things we wanted to see. Allan and I probably sent close to 200 emails over the year of planning and he always responded within 24 hours. We had someone cancel a month before and he quickly assisted in the agreement refund policy and rearranged rooms. All of the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Our guides George and Obama were extremely professional, personable, very knowledgeable and we would definitely request them again. We spent the first 3 days in Nairobi - Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara - Amboseli - Tsavo West & East - Diani Beach to end with some R&R. We saw the big 5, went to a Masai Mara village, planned a bush dinner and a hippo breakfast. We drove to all the places except one were we took a flight from Masai Mara to Amboseli. The drives took us through the countryside of Kenya which we loved seeing. The drives could be long for some so maybe think of more smaller flights between parks but we loved seeing Kenya. The only thing I would change was adding a few more days to enjoy some more time at the beautiful lodges. The food and drinks at the lodges was excellent. This was truly a trip of a lifetime. Asante Sana Allan, George and Obama!
