Overview
Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, Olduvai Gorge, and Ngorongoro Crater are the most popular national parks in Northern Tanzania. This five-day safari will take you to all of them! You will travel in custom-designed 4x4 safari vehicles with open roofs for game viewing. This is a small group seat-in-vehicle safari with a maximum of 6 travelers per vehicle, all with window seats.

Day 1
Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania, please proceed through customs and look for your driver. They will be waiting for you and holding a sign with your name. Your driver will then transport you to Moshi. We are excited to take you on a tour of the beautiful city of Moshi. Day 2
Drive to Tarangire National Park
The drive from Moshi to Tarangire National Park takes about three hours. Tarangire National Park is particularly stunning during the Dry season when many migratory wildlife species return to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the rains arrive. At this point, they migrate again to areas with good grazing. Day 3
A Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge
The drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge takes three to four hours. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site in the eastern Serengeti Plains where early human fossils were first found long ago. The gorge is a spectacular landscape created by the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. Then, in the late evening, drive to and overnight at the Serengeti Wild Camp or Ikoma Wild Camp and Cottages on a full-board basis. Day 4
Venture into the Serengeti Wilderness
After breakfast, you will venture into the wilderness as you travel to the corners of the Serengeti for a full day of game viewing. You will have a picnic lunch with you, allowing you to explore the park leisurely. The Serengeti is a World Heritage Site and home to the largest concentration of plain game on Earth. In the late evening, you will head to the Serengeti Wild Camp or Ikoma Wild Camp and Cottages for rest, dinner, and overnight stay (full-board). Day 5
Game Drive to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos and prides of lions that include magnificent black-manned males. You can also observe colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other wildlife you can see include leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.
