Start your day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli, when wildlife is most active and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are at their best. After breakfast, depart for the Salt Lick/Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a scenic 3–4 hour drive. Upon arrival, check in at the unique Salt Lick Lodge, known for its elevated, treehouse-style rooms overlooking floodlit waterholes. In the evening, enjoy dinner and relax as you watch wildlife gather at the waterhole from the comfort of your lodge. After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East National Park, enjoying a scenic drive that takes a few hours depending on the route. Upon arrival, check in at your safari lodge or camp, then head out for an afternoon game drive across the vast plains, where you may spot lions, elephants, and the famous red-dust-coated elephants of Tsavo.
