6:30 am Pick up at your hotel or accommodation or airport or any selected location 6:45 am Departure for Mt Longonot 8:00 am A brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley View Point for photography and washroom break 9:30am Stretching/warmup and some team building activities (for group hikes) 10:00am Start the Mount Longonot hike to the crater rim (3.1-kilometer trail, 1 hr average, Difficulty: moderate) 11:00am Short water break at the rim 11:30 am Start hiking round the crater (optional and only recommended for physically fit individuals) (7.2 km round the crater via Kilele Ngamia Mt Longonot Summit /peak, 2 hours average, Difficulty: hard) 1: 30 p.m. Short snack lunch break at the rim 2:00 pm Begin descending 3:00 p.m Cool down session at the entrance park 4:00 pm Departure to preferred restaurant and /or Nairobi 6:30 pm Drop off at selected location End of Day Trip.
