Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
After arriving at Maun Airport in Botswana, you’ll transfer to a shared charter flight to the Kalahari. Set on the edge of the vast and forbidding Makgadikgadi Pans, Leroo La Tau is a remote lodge overlooking the Boteti River, a vital lifeline for the area’s wildlife. Guests enjoy game drives and interpretive walks with expert guides and trackers. Between November and May, herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra arrive, attracting predators in large numbers. Not for nothing does the lodge name mean "Footprint of the Lion". Spot-lit night drives and bird-watching complete the picture. Luxury lodge bordering Makgadikgadi Pans NP (Botswana) without fences All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 3
Today, you’ll fly out by a shared charter to the northern Okavango Delta and Xugana Island Lodge. Set under giant trees on a private island, Xugana is a true water camp. Guests explore this beautiful corner of the delta by boat, canoe and on foot. Begin the day with a mokoro (canoe) excursion, as your expert guide points out birds and frogs as you drift along crystal-clear rivers. Island-hopping walking safaris reveal the delta’s astonishing wealth of wildlife, and you’ll enjoy star-lit suppers and a convivial fireside ambience back at camp. Luxury lodge (with rustic facilities) located inside Okavango Delta (Botswana) All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 5
Savute is the wild heart of the Chobe National Park, an area of grassland and water in an ocean of dry woodland. You’ll fly in from Xugana Island Lodge and settle in at Savute Safari Lodge. The lovely chalets overlook the famous Savute Channel, a popular water source for Savute’s thirsty elephants. Savute is one of Botswana’s best destinations for predators and the conflict between lions and hyenas is well documented. Leopards prowl Savute’s rocky hills while cheetahs and wild dogs chase down impala on the grasslands. Enjoy game drives with expert guides and star-studded nights with the call of the wild around you. Luxury lodge inside Savuti (Chobe NP, Botswana) All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 7
A short flight north takes you to Kasane Airport on the Chobe River. You’ll enjoy a drive into the Chobe National Park before checking in at Chobe Game Lodge. Guests at this majestic, Moor-inspired lodge can take advantage of its prime location right on the banks of the river. Game drives and boat safaris are offered along with sunset river cruises and specialist birding expeditions. The Chobe River has abundant resident game, but is at its peak in the late dry season when thousands of elephants gather to drink. Buffalo herds, lion prides and a wealth of river life add to the mix. Luxury lodge located inside Chobe NP (Botswana) All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 9
Drive overland to Zimbabwe & Victoria Falls where you check in at centrally-located Ilala Lodge for 1 night on a B&B basis. An early start after breakfast gets you across the border and into Zimbabwe in time for lunch at Victoria Falls. Your destination is the ever-popular Ilala Lodge, a friendly and long-serving hotel located at the heart of the town of Victoria Falls. This puts you within walking distance of the world wonder as well as within strolling distance of markets, restaurants and shops. With a full day on hand, you have time to arrange a Victoria Falls activity or two. Besides a tour of the falls themselves, other top activities include bungee jumping, scenic flights, elephant-back safaris, and white-water rafting. 5.0/5My wife and I returned recently from a safari trip arranged by Safari-online and we both enthusiastically tell our friends that this was the trip of a lifetime. We began planning in 2024 by working with our operator, Ilona Biagio. Ilona met with us twice by remote video calls. She took the time to get to know us and find out exactly what we like and know. She had questions for us and did not try to "sell' us a package before she figured out the perfect customized itinerary. I highly recommend to future customers that you begin your journey by meeting with the tour operator face-to-face. Ilona then put together two options and then considering what she knew about us, she guided us to the best option. One more thing: at some point she learned that 2025 was our 20th wedding anniversary, so at each destination, the camp staff did something special for us. We were truely touched. Thank you, Ilona! Safari-Online works with Desert and Delta Safari tours. D & D Safari is also a highly professional team that made our experience rich and safe. The accomodations were over the top. The food was amazing. The staff are unforgettable. Thank you, Safari-online and Desert and Delta

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Safari Online! From start to finish, everything was seamless, well-organized, and beyond our expectations. The communication before the trip was prompt and helpful, and Ilona made us feel comfortable throughout the process. Ilona is incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about curating the perfect itinerary her clients and we felt that every step of the way. She truly is the safari specialist. The communication was frequent at some points, and promptly responses. Before we were set to embark on our trip, she was in constant contact with us and even made us a digital visual of our itinerary to get us even more excited! If you're considering booking a safari trip, don’t hesitate—just go for it! I would recommend Safari Online and Ilona to absolutely everyone. It was hands down one of the best travel experiences we've ever had.

We recently returned from a breathtaking safari across Botswana and Zimbabwe, masterfully organized by Safari Online. The process from start to finish was smooth, personal, and incredibly detailed. Our coordinator, Lindsey Calldo, deserves special recognition. She listened closely to our interests—especially my goal of photographing wildlife—and crafted an itinerary that maximized exposure to Botswana’s stunningly diverse ecosystems. Each lodge—Camp Moremi, Leroo La Tau, Camp Okavango, and Savute Safari Lodge—was handpicked for its setting, comfort, and wildlife access. The trip flowed beautifully from wetlands to woodlands to riverine forests, giving us ideal conditions for photography, relaxation, and immersive game drives. Over the course of two weeks, we saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, monitor lizards, mongooses, warthogs, cheetahs, lions, leopards, serval cat, every antelope species imaginable, and an astonishing variety of birdlife—from fish eagles and lilac-breasted rollers to ground hornbills and African jacanas. Each day offered a new highlight, framed by dramatic landscapes, fiery sunsets, and guides who knew exactly how to position us for the perfect shot. What really sets Safari Online apart is their depth of experience and responsiveness. Every transfer, lodge detail, and logistical nuance was handled with precision. Lindsey’s recommendations for Desert & Delta Safaris properties were spot-on and added real value to our journey. If you're a photographer, wildlife enthusiast, or someone seeking a tailor-made safari that feels truly cared for—Safari Online is the team to trust. We returned with not just unforgettable memories, but a portfolio of images we’ll cherish forever.

South Africa has always been a lifetime bucket list. I found Safari Online from searching the internet and reading some reviews. Within 24 hours I was talking to Vansheree. What an absolute pleasure! Vansheree made my entire experience from start to finish effortless. Her experience of actually staying where she was recommending was instrumental in the success of my adventure. 5 Star communication, punctual, value for money. I’m already looking at my next trip! Thamabati in the Greater Kruger was the highlight of my trip, small group, wonderful staff and lots of animals to see. Vansheree organised my entire trip, I felt safe travelling with my best friend, who is also female. I can not thank Vansheree enough from the bottom of my heart, you have fulfilled a lifetime dream.
