Day 1
Take a scenic morning flight to known as the “Camelot of Africa.” Upon arrival, drive to a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for dramatic escarpments and endemic wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy your first trekking experience, spotting wildlife such as Gelada baboons, Walia ibex, and various bird species. Overnight: Debark (gateway to the Simien Mountains). Day 2
After breakfast, drive deeper into the Simien Mountains to the Chenek trekking point, one of the best locations for wildlife viewing and panoramic landscapes. Enjoy guided trekking with chances to see the endangered Walia ibex and breathtaking highland scenery. In the afternoon, return to Gondar for relaxation or optional cultural exploration. Day 3
Fly to home to Ethiopia’s most iconic religious sites. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and begin exploring the carved from solid rock in the 12th century, Discover remarkable churches such as Bet Medhane Alem and the famous cross-shaped Bet Giyorgis. Day 4
After breakfast in Lalibela, begin your journey to Semera, the gateway to the Danakil Depression. The drive takes you from the cool highlands down into the hot Afar lowlands, with changing landscapes along the way. Pass rural villages, escarpments, and open plains, with stops for rest and photos. Day 5
Drive through the Afar region to Lake Afdera, known for its salt mining activities. Continue to the surreal landscapes of, one of the hottest and lowest places on Earth. Day 6
Travel across the Danakil Depression to home to one of the world’s few permanent lava lakes. In the evening, begin a guided trek to the summit. Witness the glowing lava lake under the stars—an unforgettable natural spectacle. Overnight: Camping at Erta Ale. All meals included Drinks not included
Day 7
Descend early from Erta Ale after witnessing its dramatic lava lake and sunrise views. Drive across the Afar desert back to Semera, passing volcanic landscapes and salt flats along the way. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Addis Ababa. In the evening, relax at your hotel or enjoy a traditional Ethiopian dinner featuring local cuisine, music, and cultural dance performances. Overnight: Addis Ababa. Day 8

You may encounter different ethnic communities and traditional activities, making this a culturally rich transition day. Day 11
Depart Wolayta Sodo and travel toward Bale Mountains National Park, one of Africa’s richest biodiversity areas. Day 12
