Day 6
Waking up in Serengeti National Park is a truly special experience, as the sounds, scents, and sights of the African wilderness surround you in one of the world’s most iconic wildlife destinations. After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive, enjoying the park’s sweeping landscapes, ever-changing light, and abundant wildlife, all interpreted by your expert guide. Day 8
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” From the panoramic viewpoint along the rim, enjoy your first breathtaking sight of this vast, fertile caldera and quickly understand why it is regarded as one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural landmarks. Located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the crater supports more than 120 mammal species, including the legendary Big Five. It is one of the best places to encounter the endangered black rhinoceros and to observe large pods of hippos resting in the crater’s wetlands. Exploring the crater floor in an open-top vehicle offers exceptional opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. The area hosts a dense population of predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, alongside abundant herbivores including wildebeest, zebras, various antelope species, and Cape buffalo. Mid-range lodge located 1-2hr drive from Ngorongoro Crater All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 9
The day begins early in Tarangire National Park, where you may witness impressive herds of elephants gathering around waterholes, along with impalas, zebras, and, with some luck, elusive leopards in their natural habitat. A midday picnic allows you to relax while enjoying the park’s dramatic scenery. Tarangire’s rich birdlife adds another highlight to the experience, from colorful lilac-breasted rollers to towering ostriches. Afternoon game drives often reveal additional wildlife activity as the day cools. Day 10
After breakfast, depart from Tarangire and begin your journey back toward Kenya. The drive is scenic, and upon crossing the border, you will complete immigration formalities and meet your new guide before continuing to the park. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as the “Royal Court of Kilimanjaro,” a name earned from its dramatic views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the savannah. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the park’s rich wildlife, including herds of wildebeest and zebras, lions, hyenas, a variety of antelope species, and some of Kenya’s largest elephant populations. The iconic sight of elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife moving across the plains with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop creates one of Africa’s most memorable safari scenes. You will spend two nights exploring Amboseli National Park, allowing ample time to enjoy its landscapes and wildlife. Mid-range lodge located just outside Amboseli NP (Kenya) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 12
Rise early this morning for your best chance to witness Mount Kilimanjaro at dawn. Often elusive behind clouds, Africa’s highest peak is most likely to reveal itself in the soft early-morning light, offering a truly memorable sight. From several viewpoints within Amboseli National Park, the iconic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro forms a dramatic backdrop to your wildlife encounters. As you enjoy game drives across the park, you may spot elephants, giraffes, and other plains wildlife moving gracefully across the savannah with the towering mountain rising in the distance—one of East Africa’s most celebrated safari scenes. Later in the day, you will depart Amboseli and travel to Nairobi, where you will be transferred to the airport or to your hotel, marking the conclusion of your safari journey.
