Day 4
After breakfast, you will depart for Lüderitz, a coastal town set in an incredibly unique geographical location. Known for its distinct colonial architecture and historical charm, Lüderitz feels like a town frozen in time. Its allure lies not only in its seaside beauty but also in its proximity to Kolmanskop, the famous abandoned diamond mining town. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour to explore the sights. Your overnight stay will be at a guesthouse. Mid-range guest house located in Lüderitz (Town) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 5
Kolmanskop was eerie, beautiful, mysterious, and bone-chilling all at the same time. If all the walls could speak, they’d have so many stories to share. The town used to be vibrant and rich, with miners flocking to Kolmanskop to mine diamonds. By 1956, the entire town was abandoned. When visiting, you have two options: either you can explore on your own for photos, or you can take a guided tour lasting about an hour to learn about the town's fascinating history before going out on your own to take pictures. Your overnight stay will be at a guesthouse. Mid-range guest house located in Lüderitz (Town) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 6
After breakfast, you will drive west to the world-famous Namib Desert, located 210 miles from Mariental. Along the way, you'll visit the iconic red dunes of Sossusvlei. In the afternoon, you'll arrive at your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy dinner and a sundowner dune drive. Mid-range lodge located outside Sossusvlei (Sand Dunes) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 7
Wake up early at the first light of dawn to experience the best lighting for your excursion to the renowned dunes of Sossusvlei. You'll have time to climb the Sossusvlei dune, take a walk to the exciting Deadvlei, and visit the Sesriem Canyon, where the unique geological formations offer insights into the history and evolution of our planet. Your tour guide will make regular stops for photo opportunities and to allow you to fully experience the majestic dunes. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Mid-range lodge located outside Sossusvlei (Sand Dunes) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 8
In the morning we will depart for the cooler coastal town of Swakopmund, located by the Atlantic Ocean. En route, you'll stop at Solitaire for fuel. Swakopmund is a charming town with a German influence, evident in its architectural buildings, palm-lined streets, seaside promenades, and a variety of restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and museums. You’ll visit the seal colony at Cape Cross and spend the night at a nearby hotel. Mid-range hotel located in Swakopmund (City) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 9
After an early breakfast, you will continue with participating in the available activities, including sand boarding and quad biking, while enjoying the cool breeze of Swakopmund. As the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourism area, Swakopmund offers plenty to keep visitors happy. The unique blend of German and Namibian influences, adventure opportunities, laid-back atmosphere, and refreshing sea breeze make it a popular destination in Namibia. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel. Mid-range hotel located in Swakopmund (City) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 10
Today, you will head into one of Namibia's most beautiful desert regions, Damaraland. Your journey takes you west via the Grootberg Pass, with a detour to visit the ancient Bushman rock engravings at Twyfelfontein. Located in the Kunene Region of north-western Namibia, Twyfelfontein is home to around 2,000 rock carvings. In 2007, UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site. As one of Africa’s largest and most significant concentrations of rock art, it was proclaimed a National Monument in 1952. The day also includes a cultural experience with the Damara tribe at the Living Museum, set amidst fascinating rock formations and the stunning landscapes of Damaraland. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Mid-range lodge located inside Damaraland All meals included Drinks not included
Day 11
Today, you will depart for Etosha National Park, where you will stay for two nights. The park is renowned for its vast salt pan, so large that it can be seen from space. Despite its dry, barren landscape, Etosha is teeming with wildlife that congregates around the waterholes, ensuring almost guaranteed game sightings. As one of the most accessible game reserves in Namibia and Southern Africa, Etosha’s concentration of big game near the waterholes makes for incredibly rewarding game viewing. In fact, you might not even need to leave your rest camp to see lions, elephants, rhinos, and numerous antelope and zebras drinking from the waterholes. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Mid-range lodge located just outside Etosha NP All meals included Drinks not included

Booked a 6 day tour from Windhoek to Etosha National park (2n), Swakopmund (1n) and Sossusvlei (2n), all accommodation camping included, food, transport, guide. It was simply amazing and great value for money. Our guide/driver Martin was like family to us. Took good care of us at all time. The tour company was great too and very accommodating, friendly and good communication throughout the process. Definately recommend the tour company and tour itself.

The 6-Day Etosha, Swakopmund & Sossusvlei tour exceeded my every expectation. My guide, Henzel, was highly professional, engaging, and had a great sense of humor. He made my solo tour not only informative but fun as well. The tour provided the highlights of Namibia within a short time span without feeling rushed. I appreciated the mix of history, nature, and adventure that the itinerary provided. The amount of wildlife seen in Etosha National Park was incredible. I was able to see lions, rhinos, zebras, elephants, a honey badger, and so, so many more. The campgrounds used for lodging, while not luxurious, provided running hot water for showers and good food at the camp restaurants, which was glorious after an adventure-filled day. I do recommend wearing layers as it's cold at night in the winter months as well as bringing a power bank/portable battery charger for convenient charging of electronics. I appreciate Henzel and everyone else at Safari World Tours who made my time in Namibia a once in a lifetime experience!

We did the "7 Days Wildlife Etosha and Sossusvlei Namibian Safari (Accommodated)" with Safari World Tours in December 2023 and it was the best choice for our family! We are experienced travelers (49 countries visited) and found that to travel to Namibia with a small child (4 years old) a tour would the the best option, which now we can recommend 100%. First we asked for the budget and itinerary, then we booked the tour and exchanged a lot of information and Safari World Tours was always very fast to answer and provided all the details we needed. Very professional and trustworthy, their representatives made us feel even before leaving that the trip was well organized. They had a child seat for our daughter to use in the car and were always on time for all the appointments. Our guide Henzel was amazing, the perfect balance between being professional, funny, enthusiastic, informative, knowladgeable and trustworthy. He took care of us the whole trip, drove safely, knew all the local details, assumed the arrangements and left us with the easy task of just enjoying ourselves and this beautiful country. We thought 7 days would feel rushed, but it really didn't. We visited all the places we wanted and still had time to relax by the pool, beach or restaurants. Did some great extra activities as well. All the accommodation booked was high standard and the food was delicious. Couldn't recommend this company more and their responsibility for the success of our Namibia trip! Ask for Henzel, go with your family and you won't regret it ;)
