Arrival -Bujumbura City Tour
On arrival be warmly received and then escorted to your hotel. Tour Bujumbura City for half of the day, visit the cultural and snake museum, tour the memorial, the city hall, Lake Tanganyika which is the most prominent attraction in the area, the Islam Culture Centre and the President’s Office. Day 2
Transfer to the source of the Nile
Travel over 120 kilometers to tour the genuine source of the Great Nile found at Rutovu and karera falls in Gitega. The falls are situated in the conserved area of Karera covering 142 hectares. There are four falls in the Karera River, swelled by a branch from the Mwaro River. In the evening drive back to Bujumbura. Day 3
City Tour
Today you will go to the Memorial of the Explorers in the morning which is a massive rock in the outskirts of Bujumbura. It commemorates the conference of Hanington with John Speke who both where explorers. Visit the local market, Bujumbura’s down-town and the crafts centre and boar cruise.
