It's about 20 kilometers across, 600 meters deep, and covers 300 square kilometers - an awe-inspiring natural wonder. We'll explore Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, famous for its black rhinos, flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds. You'll enjoy a full-day game drive in the crater. In the evening, we'll drive back to the lodge for dinner and to spend the night. Today, we recommend leaving early so you can take advantage of the lodge facilities, including the swimming pool and more. The game drive will end at 4:00 pm. We had the pleasure of experiencing a safari in Tanzania with African Bovine Adventures, and it was simply fantastic! The entire trip was excellently organized, and every detail was carefully thought out. A special thanks goes to our guide and organizer Adrian, who was not only extremely knowledgeable and friendly but also spoke German. This eliminated any language barriers, allowing us to fully enjoy the safari. We visited different national parks, including the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, and each park had its own unique charm. The Serengeti amazed us with its endless plains and impressive herds of animals, while the Ngorongoro Crater was a true highlight with its breathtaking scenery and incredible diversity of wildlife. It was unforgettable to see lions, elephants, giraffes, and even rhinos up close. Thank you to Adrian and the entire African Bovine Adventures-team for this perfectly planned safari. We can wholeheartedly recommend this company and will never forget this trip! ✨🐘🇹🇿

We went during December, so the weather was nice (15-22C). Apparently the migration is happening during this time, so we saw lots of animal and the scenery was incredible. One tip, bring some car sick meds, as the road are harsh and bumpy. If you are a nature/animal lover, I think the tour is a pretty good deal.
