Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Your luxury safari experience starts with a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River in the national park. This is one of the highlights of the trip as you will have the opportunity to get up close to some fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and scores of elephants and Cape buffalos that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. After a delicious lunch at Coffee Buzz restaurant, you'll return to the park in one of our customized 4x4 game viewers for an afternoon game drive, making your way slowly to our private luxury camp setup. This is the best time to see Chobe National Park’s large herbivores coming to the river to drink. You'll make your way to the camp shortly after a sundowner, whether it’s a gin and tonic or a glass of wine and snacks, and take in the magic of the African sunsets. You'll return to the camp for dinner and a chat around the campfire. After some hearty bush cuisine, you lie in bed in your ensuite tent and drift off to sleep. Inside Chobe NP All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 2
You'll wake up at dawn with a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day). After light breakfast, you'll head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding predators, as they are still active, and chances of seeing them are best. As the day heats up, you'll return to the camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to read, rest, or take a refreshing shower. When the day starts to cool off, you'll be provided with an afternoon high tea and another afternoon game drive. You'll revisit good sightings, or explore areas yet traversed. You'll return to the camp after sundowners for a reflective fireside chat. A hearty three-course bush dinner follows, prepared by our expert bush chef in camp, as always, accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night. Inside Chobe NP All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 3
On your last day, you'll have a light breakfast followed by your last early morning game drive. You and your driver have the best chances to see the predators or your favorite African animals, as you have been following the tracks and sounds of the movements in the bush for 2 full days. You will return to the camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to take a refreshing shower and then pack to get ready to continue back to Kalahari Tours. Before you enter the boat cruise to see the Chobe River in the afternoon, you will have a little snack prepared for you. The afternoon on the river is just different from the mornings. You will spend your last hours inhaling everything you have experienced. You'll return in time for your continued travel. All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)

5.0/5Every one of the individuals from Kalahari tours made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The boat tour guide, (Six) was careful to make sure we felt safe and everyone understood the importance of procedures as it related to safety. Six was very informative, friendly and fun. Our Safari guide Gee was also careful to point out necessary safety precautions. He was also very knowledgeable and took time to point out the smallest creatures. During the course of our 3 day 3 night with the team, we made new friends with the staff and other participants. The food was fantastic, the accommodations were comfortable and the trip was a great success. I highly recommend Kalahari tours

AMAZING! INCREDIBLE! MESMERIZING! While I'm sure any safari in Chobe would have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it absolutely exceeded my dreams. I attribute this to our guide, Leo, who made the entire trip unforgettable. Even though we visited during the off-season, the park was quieter, which actually made the experience even more enjoyable. The knowledge Leo shared with us truly set this experience apart from any others. He is, for sure, an animal whisperer. We had friends on separate safaris in Chobe at the same time, and they didn’t have nearly the experience we did. The wildlife, of course, was spectacular. We were lucky enough to see tons of baby animals during the off-season, which made it extra special during this time of year. Leo was great at tracking all the animals. We even saw the lion king roar as he woke up for the night. Camping was very comfortable. The food was great, and there was even a hot shower! Jacob and MP treated us very well back at camp with hot meals and anything we needed. I highly recommend camping, even if you're not usually a fan. Being able to stay right in the park means you don’t have to leave early, like you do with a day trip, and you get to experience things you wouldn’t otherwise, like hearing the actual Lion King's roar as he wakes up for the night! It was an experience I’ll never forget. I could go on and on about the wildlife, but you'll have to see for yourself when you do a safari with [insert safari company name here]. I’ve done two other safaris but nothing compares to this one. If you are going to Chobe...make sure you go with Leo/ Kalahari Tours, Kasane, Botswana!

We had a wonderful stay with Kalahari tours. The staff were super friendly and competent. Our guide Thiza, gave his best to find animals and we were rewarded with plenty of elephant, lion cubs, leopard… The camp is located inside the park so we could enjoy the real bush and bush sounds at night. The camp staff, Ponzo and Bennet were amazing. They cooked super well, even making bread in a bush oven, and made sure we had everything we need. The Chobe park is beautiful, with amazing and various landscapes. Definitely a must do if you are visiting Victoria falls.

To celebrate the 2023 New Year my partner and I decided to book a Safari with Kalahari Tours in Chobe National Park, Botswana, and it was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the tour operator made us feel like we were in the best hands. They were incredibly humble yet offered world-class service throughout the entire trip. The safari itself was breathtaking. We saw everything from elephants to lions, and the guides were so knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the wildlife and the park's ecosystem. Each day felt like a new adventure, with stunning sunrise and sunset game drives, and the boat cruise along the Chobe River was truly magical. The hospitality and care shown by the entire team made this trip one to remember. The accommodations were comfortable and well-situated to offer a unique stay within the park. Every detail was taken care of, from delicious meals to thoughtful touches that made the experience extra special. I highly recommend this tour operator for anyone looking to explore Chobe National Park. Their dedication to creating an unforgettable experience really sets them apart. I hope to return one day—it’s a place that leaves you with memories for a lifetime!
