Day 1
Hoedspruit to Balule Game Reserve
Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met for your road transfer to Balule Private Game Reserve. After checking in at Sausage Tree Safari Camp, you'll join your first afternoon shared game drive (time permitting). Transfers from other airports, such as Nelspruit, Phalaborwa, and Johannesburg, can also be arranged at an additional cost. Day 2
Balule Nature Reserve Safari
The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will wake up before dawn for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then, you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day. When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a delicious hot breakfast and have time to relax. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap, and absorb being out in the bush. After high tea, the afternoon game drive will start around 3:30–4:00 PM. It will last for +-3 hours, with a stop somewhere for sundowners. Day 4
Morning Game Activity and Departure
After your final morning game drive to look for the last remaining animals that have eluded you, you will enjoy a warm breakfast. Later, you'll depart the lodge for your road transfer to Hoedspruit Airport, where your safari comes to an end.
