Day 1
Travel to Murchison Falls National Park Overnight at Budongo forest
Your safari driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel by 7:00am, brief you about the safari and then begin the long drive to the Murchison Falls National park found in north Western Uganda. There will be a scheduled stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will get a chance to track rhinos on foot. This sanctuary which is home to the rhinos one of the big Five animals was established in 2005 to restore the rhino species which had become totally extinct in the country. Day 2
Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest and transfer to the nothern part of the national park
Set off into Budongo forest for the chimpanzee trekking adventure. This group of chimps is quite large, numbering about 80 individuals. The terrain is relatively flat so do not expect hard trek, unless if they are far away from Kaniyo Pabidi which is normally the case around the month September when there is less food in their territory and have to search from farther away. You will spend at most one hour with the chimps. Transfer to the north of Murchison Falls National Park with a scheduled visit to the top of the falls. Day 3
Game drive and Boat cruise on the Nile
With an early start, you will head out for an early morning game drive to see the various wildlife as you explore the various habitats. Some of the animals you will spot include elephants, hyenas, lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes and giraffes among many others before returning to the lodge to freshen up and have lunch. After lunch you will head out on a 2 hours launch cruise of the River Nile to the bottom of the waterfalls which you will be able to see in their full mighty. You will encounter various wildlife along the river banks such as the giant Nile crocodiles, large numbers of hippos, birds and elephants among others. Day 4
Return to Entebbe
This will be the final day of our safari. After breakfast you will enjoy a final game drive in the park to see some more animals before beginning on the drive back to Kampala where you will arrive late in the afternoon. You will be dropped either at the Entebbe international airport for your outbound flight or at a hotel of your choice. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
