Spend the rest of the day relaxing either by the pool, enjoying nature from your veranda, or taking in the sounds of the wild as the sun sets. Full Day Game Drive In Nyerere National Park
After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive through one of Africa’s largest ecosystems. Covering woodlands, lakes, floodplains, and riverbanks, Nyerere offers unmatched wildlife diversity. Search for iconic species like elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, crocodiles, and the rare African wild dog. Visit key areas such as Lake Manze and Beho Beho Hills, with a picnic lunch inside the park. Return in the late afternoon for dinner and a storytelling evening by the fire. Bush Walking Safari & Sunset Boat Cruise along the Might Rufiji River
Begin your day with an early morning walking safari around the park boundaries with an escort from your local guide and Maasai guide. Learn about animal tracks, medicinal plants, insects, and the smaller details of the ecosystem that you don’t see from a vehicle. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast and some downtime. In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River an unforgettable way to see crocodiles, hippos, and aquatic birds under glowing skies. Village Visit & Return To Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast, take a guided cultural tour to a nearby village. Meet local people, learn about traditional lifestyles, and experience the vibrant spirit of rural Tanzania. Then, begin your return journey to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the afternoon. This marks the end of your safari or the start of your Zanzibar beach extension or flight home. And this will mark the end of your safari in Nyerere National Park. They are professionals！
We asked the tour details to them before we go, and they arranged it to suit the tour contents, our budget, and what we wanted to experience. In the end, the experience was fulfilling, we were able to see many animals, and our guide and driver Charles was very knowledgeable about animals, so we learned a lot. As for the wildebeest migration, it was up to luck whether we could see it, but we were able to see an endless herd of wildebeest! Visiting the Hadzabe village was also a very valuable experience. At Tukaone camp where we stayed, the staff were very kind, the food was amazing, and the tents had comfortable beds and sofas. When we woke up in the morning, we could see the beautiful sunrise and buffalo and hippos from our tent. I will never forget the experience I had here.
