Your adventure begins with a drive from Mombasa into the heart of Tsavo East, where the landscape stretches endlessly under the African sun. After three hours drive, you arrive at Tsavo's Bachuma gate, enter, and embark on your first en route game drive. Along the way, keep your eyes open for giraffes, zebras, and the famous red elephants coated in Tsavo’s rich soil. By afternoon, you’ll settle into Lion Hill Zomeni Lodge, perched with sweeping views over the park. As dusk falls, the sounds of the bush come alive, setting the tone for your first night in the wild. Today is dedicated to exploring Tsavo East, a land of contrasts where the Galana River winds through dry savannah and lush pockets of greenery. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal lions lounging in the shade, herds of buffalo, and perhaps a cheetah scanning the horizon. Between drives, you'll relax at Lion Hill Zomeni, enjoying its rustic charm and panoramic views. The evening sky, painted in fiery hues, is the perfect backdrop for stories shared under the stars. Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, you'll journey westward into Tsavo West, where the scenery shifts dramatically. Rolling hills, lava flows, and the striking Mzima Springs create a completely different atmosphere. Hippos and crocodiles bask in crystal-clear waters, while the Chyulu Hills rise in the distance. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at Ngulia Safari Lodge, nestled against the rugged Ngulia Hills. Here, the lodge’s vantage point offers breathtaking views. If luck is on your side, you may even spot a leopard drawn to the lodge’s lights at night. After breakfast, yoou will begin the return journey to Mombasa, carrying with you vivid memories of Kenya’s wild beauty and the timeless rhythm of the savannah. Our family Kenyan safari trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary was perfectly planned by Denis from the moment we landed in Nairobi, to our last day. We traveled to Ol Tukai in the Amboseli Park before setting for Serena Kilaguni in the West and our safari ended in Salt Lick Lodg a beautiful lodge in Taita wildlife conservancy.The variety of animals we saw was breathtaking. Our 25th wedding anniversary was celebrated at Kilaguni Serena with an amazing day watching the elephants and other animals come to the watrhole to take water and beautiful intimate dinner party and dancing with the entire staff during the evening. Our guide Joseph was amazin all through the journey. Made us feel very safe and always gave us options and a lot of information about Kenya and her wildlife
