Day 1
Nairobi – Fly to Masai Mara
Your safari begins with a morning transfer to Wilson Airport for a scenic flight over the Great Rift Valley into the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon landing at the Mara airstrip, you’ll be met by your driver-guide and enjoy a short game drive as you head to your luxury camp. After check-in and lunch, venture out for your first thrilling afternoon game drive, where you’ll spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and perhaps even leopards hiding in the acacia woodlands. As the sun sets over the vast savannah, return to camp for dinner and relaxation under the star-filled African sky. Day 2
Full-Day Game Viewing in the Mara
Awaken early to the sounds of the wild and set off on a sunrise game drive, the best time to witness predators on the move before the day heats up. Marvel at the golden light casting over the endless plains, where lions, cheetahs, and hyenas may be on the hunt, while herds of elephants and buffalo roam peacefully. Return to camp for a hearty bush breakfast and some leisure time—relax by the pool, watch wildlife from your veranda, or simply soak in the tranquility of the wilderness. In the afternoon, head back into the reserve for another exciting game drive, with opportunities to encounter the Big Five and other iconic species such as giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Optional activities can include a Maasai village visit to experience the culture and traditions of the Maasai people, or a hot air balloon safari (pre-booked) offering a bird’s-eye view of the Mara followed by a champagne breakfast. As the day ends, enjoy a sundowner and return to camp for dinner beneath the stars. Day 3
Deep Exploration of the Mara Wilderness
Rise early for another adventure-filled day in the heart of the Mara. After a light breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch to allow you to explore deeper into the reserve. This gives you the chance to follow wildlife along the Mara and Talek Rivers, where hippos and crocodiles thrive, and—if traveling during migration season—witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings. Your guide will take you to prime viewing areas where predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards often stalk their prey. The open savannah also provides excellent photographic opportunities of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. Enjoy your picnic lunch under a shaded acacia tree before continuing your wilderness exploration. Later, savor a scenic sundowner in the bush as the African sky transforms into hues of gold and crimson. Return to camp for dinner, storytelling by the campfire, and a final night immersed in the magical sounds of the Mara. Masai Mara – Fly Back to Nairobi
Wake up to the serene sounds of the bush and enjoy a final early morning game drive, capturing those last magical wildlife moments in the golden light. Return to camp for a relaxed breakfast while overlooking the sweeping savannah one last time. After check-out, you’ll be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your scenic flight back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, arriving around midday. On arrival, you’ll be met and either transferred to your city hotel or onward to the international airport for your flight home—taking with you unforgettable memories of the Mara wilderness.
