Day 1
Arusha - Tarangire national park
Our driver guide will pick you at your lodge in Arusha and then board your 4x4 vehicle to head to Tarangire National Park for a game viewing tour. You will drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive before reaching the park. You will begin your morning by exploring the reserve, then admire its landscapes, baobab trees, and surrounding wildlife, with entire families of elephants and other animals, such as felines, zebras, and giraffes. The park is famous, among other things, for its large herds of elephants and baobabs, and for its stunning landscapes including hills and Lake Burunge. Lunch will be served at the picnic area. In the late evening, you will leave the park and head to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge. Day 2
Lake Manyara national park
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will board your 4x4 vehicle and head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day safari. Located in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara is renowned for its flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants, but it is also home to several hundred species of migratory birds, making it a birdwatcher's paradise. Tree-climbing lions and breathtaking scenery will make your day unforgettable. With a little luck, you might spot elephants in the acacia forest. Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its high concentration of birds, monkeys, and big cats. Lunch will be served at the picnic area. After lunch, you will continue your safari in the afternoon. Later you will exit the park and head to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge. Day 3
Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will board the 4X4 Land Cruiser with pop-up roof to set off for a full day game viewing in the Serengeti National Park with a hot picnic lunch. You will have the chance to explore the largest national park in Africa. The Serengeti is home to the famous annual Serengeti Wildebeest Migration. Serengeti National Park offers excellent year-round viewing of a multitude of wildlife including lions, wildebeest, buffalo, zebras and several species of antelope, giraffes and baboons as well as many other species including birds of prey and many more. You will have lunch at the picnic site. After lunch, you will continue with the afternoon game drive. In the late evening, you will drive to Glimpse Tented Camp for dinner and overnight. Day 4
Explore Serengeti National Park
Your first wake-up call in the park, you can simply enjoy the sunrise over the savannah around you, the zebras. After having a good breakfast, set off to explore the Park for the day, you will surely cross paths with several felines and other animals, this park is magical you will see! I will spare you the magic and not tell you too much. Enjoying the moment will be the key word throughout your stay! You will have lunch at the picnic site. After lunch, you will continue with game drive on the way to Marera valley lodge. Your accommodation for the night is near the Ngorongoro Crater. Early the following morning, you descend into the crater for game viewing. Early mornings are the best time to see animals as they are more active in the morning than in the rest of the day. Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Rise early today to avoid any delays on your descent to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. From the moment you arrive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be amazed by the beauty that surrounds you. This will be even more so as you arrive at the crater rim and admire the breathtaking view of one of the natural wonders of the world. The crater of this inactive volcano, approximately 3 million years old and covering an area of 20 km², is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world. Thanks to its natural boundaries, the crater's wildlife is incredible. The crater is home to the Big Five and offers an excellent opportunity to observe the rare black rhino. Add to this hyenas, zebras, buffalo, and elephants, and you have the perfect setting for an unforgettable safari! In the late afternoon, after exploring this park and its underground forest, you will return to Arusha where you will be transferred to your lodge. Our franch-speaking guide Emmanuel was truly exceptional, very kind, passionate, and clearly an expert in his field. Thanks to him, we were able to see many animals and learn a lot about their behavior and the surrounding nature. No issues at all with Kimgoni agency, everything was perfectly organized and always on time. The vehicule was confortable, well-equipped, and there were always plenty of drinks. We were 4 guests for an 8 days safari with Kimgoni Tanzania Safaris early september 2025. We had expressed our whishes and have been delighted by every aspect of our adventure. First of all we were so lucky with our french speacking guide Nahum who's obsession was to please us every moment of our journey. What we've seen and experienced was kind of magic, thanks to him. Philippo Kimgoni, the owner of the company was kind enough to come in person in the midle of our journey to greet us and make sure we were fine. In short, our tour was extremly customized, avoiding hyper-touristy circuits and favoring more authentic encounters. We will keep wonderful memories for long time.
