Day 1
Your Day 1 journey from Nairobi to the Masai Mara begins with an early morning departure, driving through the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop to admire its sweeping views. You’ll continue past towns and villages until reaching Narok, the gateway to the Mara, for a short break. By early afternoon, you’ll arrive at your lodge or camp, enjoy lunch, and settle in before heading out on your first game drive. The late afternoon safari offers a chance to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife as the sun sets over the savannah. You’ll return at dusk for dinner and a relaxed evening under the stars, preparing for the adventures ahead. Day 2
Day Two in the Masai Mara is a full-day safari adventure. After an early breakfast, you’ll head out at sunrise to catch predators and herds at their most active. The morning drive takes you across the plains, spotting elephants, giraffes, and possibly leopards. Around midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing deeper into the park, exploring riverbanks where hippos and crocodiles thrive. The afternoon offers more wildlife encounters and sweeping views, ending with a breathtaking sunset over the savannah. You’ll return to camp for dinner and a relaxed evening by the fire, reflecting on the day’s sightings. Day 3
After having your sumptuous breakfast in the Masai Mara, begin the drive north toward Lake Bogoria. The journey retraces the Rift Valley, passing through Narok and Nakuru with a midday stop for refreshments. By afternoon, the scenery shifts to semi-arid landscapes as you approach Bogoria. On arrival, you’ll check into your lodge or camp and spend the late afternoon exploring the lake’s famous hot springs, geysers, and flocks of flamingos along the shoreline. The day ends with dinner overlooking the rugged terrain, followed by a peaceful evening preparing for the next adventure. Day 4
Day Four begins with breakfast at Lake Bogoria before setting out on the drive south toward Hell’s Gate National Park. The route takes you back through Nakuru, offering a chance to pause for refreshments or a quick view of Lake Nakuru if time allows. From there, the journey continues toward Naivasha, where the landscape shifts to lush greenery and volcanic cliffs. By late morning or early afternoon, you’ll arrive at Hell’s Gate, a park renowned for its dramatic gorges, towering cliffs, and geothermal features. After checking in, you’ll enjoy a guided exploration that may include cycling or walking among zebras, gazelles, and giraffes, followed by a hike through the park’s famous gorge with its striking rock formations and hot springs. The afternoon is spent discovering the park’s unique scenery and wildlife at a relaxed pace, before returning to your lodge or camp near Lake Naivasha for dinner and an evening by the lakeshore. Day 5
On your final day, the journey begins with breakfast by Lake Naivasha, where you can enjoy the serene views of the water and birdlife before preparing to head back to Nairobi. Departing mid-morning, the drive takes you through the lush Rift Valley landscapes, passing farmlands and small towns along the way. Lunch will be served en route. A short stop for refreshments or souvenirs can be made en route, allowing you to stretch and take in the scenery one last time. By early afternoon, you’ll arrive in Nairobi, marking the end of your safari adventure. Depending on your schedule, you may be dropped off at your hotel or directly at the airport for your onward travel. This final leg offers a reflective close to the tour, with memories of the Mara, Bogoria, and Naivasha accompanying you back to the city. We visited Kenya for the December holiday with my wife. We were met by our guide John at Tamarind Hotel in Nairobi where our excellent safari had just began. Having such a knowledgeable and friendly guide just added to our experience. We travelled to the Masai Mara arriving at the Sarova Mara camp which was very relaxing and comfortable with great staff. We had 2 days Safari there seeing some beautiful animals lions,Cheetah, Elephant, Hippos,Warthogs, Hyenas and lots more. We then travelled to Lake Nakuru staying at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge and on our game drives managed to see Rhinos, Lions, Baboons and lots of bird life. We would highly recommend this package and taking the option of a private Land Cruiser. Booking a group safari might sometimes turn out not fun since there's no flexibility at all. John was very attentive and he played a big role to the success of our trip. My wife and I really enjoyed we will definitely come back again. In January we set out on our second trip to Kenya and once again we were blown away by how well everything was organised. This time we booked online through Jacmiya and Joseph who set everything up did a fantastic job putting the whole trip together for us. He really listened to what we wanted, adjusted the itinerary until it was exactly what we were looking for and made the whole process feel easy and stress‑free. We were lucky enough to have John as our guide, and he was just as good, His knowledge of Kenya, the wildlife, and all the parks was brilliant. He’s one of those guides who can somehow spot animals from unbelievable distances pointing out things we never would’ve noticed ourselves. He looked after us from start to finish and made everyday fun, relaxed, and memorable. Jacmiya did a fantastic job with the overall organisation and every swap of location was as seamless as our first trip, they make it look so effortless. That same level of care absolutely came through on this second visit as well. My 6 days safari with Jacmiya Safaris just left me with endless memories. I was a solo traveller and they truly took good care of me. Joseph, the guy who was in contact with me during the planning stage was really quick with his responses. I could message him with several changes and still get them done promptly. Much appreciation to John, my tour guide who did all he can to make the safari a success. John knew nearly everyone in the park, and that made me feel like he really knew his work well and very famous. He could make calls to his colleagues asking for best spots and within no minute, we were there. I was lucky to see all the BIG FIVE and the most interesting part was seeing the killing- very rare sightings as I was informed. Thank you Jacmiya Safaris, I will surely recommend them to my friends.
