Diani to Amboseli Np
Depart Diani Hotel early in the morning and drive south toward Amboseli, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive across the park’s open plains, famous for large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Expect to see zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and possibly lions as the sun sets behind the mountain. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, soaking in the quiet wilderness atmosphere. Amboseli Full Exploration
Spend a full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. The early morning is ideal for photography, especially if Kilimanjaro is clear. Visit the swamp areas where wildlife gathers—elephants bathing, hippos partially submerged, and abundant birdlife. You may also explore Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park. Break for lunch and relaxation at the lodge before heading out again in the late afternoon when predators are more active. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. After breakfast and an Early Morning game drive, depart Amboseli and drive toward Tsavo West, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, then set out for an afternoon game drive in this more rugged and diverse park. Highlights include volcanic landscapes, lava flows, and the famous Mzima Springs where you can view hippos and crocodiles in crystal-clear water. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, buffalo, leopards, and a variety of antelope. Dinner and overnight in Tsavo West. Start with an early morning game drive in Tsavo West, then after breakfast continue your journey toward Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive or simply relax while animals come to nearby waterholes. The sanctuary offers a more intimate safari experience, with good chances of spotting lions, elephants, and diverse bird species.
