Day 2
Mount Kilimanjaro – Foothills Hike Adventure
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Marangu Gate, the main entrance to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, where your hiking adventure begins. With your professional mountain guide, set out along forested trails filled with the sounds of exotic birds, playful blue monkeys, and the occasional colobus monkey leaping through the trees. The path winds through lush rainforest vegetation until you reach Mandara Hut (2,700 meters), offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountain slopes and plains far below. Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxing packed lunch before beginning your gentle descent. Along the way, take time to appreciate the serenity of Africa’s tallest mountain. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for a leisurely evening and dinner as you prepare for the next leg of your safari adventure. Day 3
Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants
After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its sweeping landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and its massive herds of elephants, the largest concentration in northern Tanzania. The park’s lifeline, the Tarangire River, attracts an incredible variety of wildlife, especially during the Dry season. Enjoy a thrilling game drive as you search for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 species of birds. You’ll stop for a scenic picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by the sounds of nature and open savannah views. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge in Karatu, where you can relax and share stories of the day’s sightings over dinner. Serengeti National Park – Into the Wild
After breakfast, travel through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Highlands en route to the Serengeti National Park, one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world. As you descend into the vast golden plains, the scenery opens to endless horizons where wildlife roams freely. Along the way, enjoy game viewing with opportunities to see zebras, gazelles, elephants, and predators stalking their prey. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the great wildebeest migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events. Serengeti National Park – Full Game Drive
Rise early for a sunrise game drive, when the Serengeti comes alive with the sounds of nature awakening. This is the perfect time to spot predators such as lions and cheetahs hunting in the cool morning air. After breakfast, continue exploring the park’s diverse habitats — from open grasslands to acacia woodlands and riverine forests. Watch elephants bathe in waterholes, hippos bask in the sun, and graceful giraffes browse the treetops. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Ngorongoro Crater – Africa's Eden
After breakfast, leave the Serengeti behind and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife and often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. The crater’s floor offers a chance to spot nearly every species found in East Africa, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy your picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, where you can watch these massive creatures lazing in the water. After a rewarding day of exploration, ascend the crater rim and drive to Arusha, arriving in the evening to relax at your lodge.
