Overview
This tour package features Elephant sands Chobe and Victoria Falls. The Okavango Delta is one of the world's largest inland water systems. Its headwaters start in Angola's western highlands, with numerous tributaries joining to form the Cubango River. It then flows through Namibia (called the Kavango) and finally enters Botswana, where it is called the Okavango. Millions of years ago, the Okavango River used to flow into a large inland lake called Lake Makgadikgadi (now Makgadikgadi Pans).

Day 1
Transfer from Maun airport to Sedia Hotel
Upon arrival, you will be met by an Africa Zim Travel and Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. Later, you will finish the rest of afternoon at leisure. You can take a walk towards the Thamalakane river to watch some birds species. Your accommodation is at Sedia or similar. Okavango Delta
Today, after breakfast, you will start your Okavango Delta day-trip experience with a mokoro and game walks. It’s a 1-day trip in the delta with professional guides and it’s fully inclusive of all meals. You will explore the Okavango by mokoro (a traditional dug-out canoe), by boat or wilderness walks on nearby islands. Day 3
Maun to Elephant sands
Elephant Sands is a bush lodge & campsite in the north-eastern part of Botswana, and it's 350 km from Maun. We will stop at planet baobab for lunch and you have the chance to check out the famous baobab trees that are scattered the whole area. Enjoy viewing the elephants at a natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. Watch these impressive creatures whilst they drink only a couple of meters away from you, a unique experience! Optional game drive and game walk are available on request. Elephant Sands to Chobe National Park
Transfer by road to Chobe National Park, located 250 km north of Elephant sands, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Accommodation is at the Moorish-styled Chobe Safari Lodge. You will finish the rest of afternoon with a spectacular sunset game drive in Chobe National park. Day 5
Chobe National Park
Go on an early morning game drive in the Chobe National Park. Tea and coffee is served before or during the game drive. It is the best time of the day to see big cats like lion, leopard and cheetah. After the game drive, from around 9:30 am to 10 am, you will return for your full breakfast. Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River in the Chobe National Park. The trip usually starts at 3 pm. It's one of the best experiences to watch the game from the boat where you can get closer to the animals. Chobe National Park To Victoria Falls
Soon after breakfast you pack your bags preparing to depart Chobe safari lodge at 10am. We will cross the Kazungula border after all border formalities and head to Victoria falls. Later, you will go on a Zambezi sunset cruise that will include snacks, soft drinks, wines, beers and juices. Your accommodation is at Bayete Lodge or similar. Day 7
Victoria Falls
After breakfast, embark on a free walking tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. This walking safari takes you through the magnificent rainforest where you are able to view the Cataracts, Livingstone's statue and a wide variety of birds and plants. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure with a Boma dinner at Victoria falls safari lodge which will be the last dinner with us. Perfect organized tour for two persons to see wild animals and beautifull landscapes
We felt well advised by africa zim travel&tours even before booking. The whole tour went wonderfully. Times and agreements were honoured and our expectations of what we wanted to see were always met or exceeded. Mtho, our driver and sometimes guide, told us a lot about the countries, people and animals and had the patience to tell us the same thing sometimes four times if we didn't understand it or had already forgotten it. He always spread a good mood with his manner. He drove us safely over the sometimes bumpy and dusty roads. The selected hotels, rooms and meals were consistently good to luxurious. Overall, it was a varied and exciting trip and well worth the price.
