After a delicious breakfast, you'll journey to the magnificent Liwonde National Park, a true success story in Malawian conservation. You'll enjoy a comfortable 3-hour scenic drive with your Baseline Travel guide, who will share insights into the local culture and landscapes along the way. Your destination is the beautiful Club Makokola, your lakeside retreat for the day. Your Baseline Travel guide will transfer you to Lilongwe International Airport (LLW) for your connection to Mfuwe International Airport (MFU) in Zambia (please note: this may involve a connection, typically via Lusaka). Upon arrival at Mfuwe, our Baseline Travel representative in South Luangwa will welcome you and take you to the lodge, and will also transfer you to your safari, nestled on the edge of the South Luangwa National Park.
