Your day begins with a 5:00 - 5:15 AM pickup from Hoedspruit or a nearby lodge. After brief introductions, we head to Kruger National Park, entering through Orpen Gate. This park is known for its abundant lions, zebras, and giraffes - be ready for stunning wildlife photography! The morning game drive, led by our knowledgeable guides, takes you through prime viewing areas for elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and diverse bird species, all while communicating via radio for the best sightings. Enjoy a mid-morning break with complimentary tea, coffee, and water. We then stop at Satara Rest Camp for lunch (at your own expense), a popular spot for lion and cheetah sightings. The afternoon game drive continues the adventure, focusing on big cats and other iconic wildlife. After a fantastic day, we exit through Orpen Gate and return to Hoedspruit, arriving between 4:30 and 5:30 PM, concluding your memorable safari experience. Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe
