Escape Nairobi for a refreshing adventure to Lake Naivasha, one of the Great Rift Valley’s most tranquil freshwater lakes. This tour offers a perfect mix of wildlife, scenery, and relaxation. Start with a scenic drive through the Rift Valley, stopping briefly for photos, before arriving at the lake for a guided boat ride, spotting hippos, pelicans, kingfishers, and other birdlife while learning about the lake’s rich ecosystem. Next, take a short boat transfer to Crescent Island for a walking safari, wandering freely among giraffes, zebras, impalas, and wildebeests in a peaceful, vehicle-free sanctuary-ideal for photography and close wildlife encounters. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a lakeside lodge or restaurant. For an added adventure, opt for a horseback ride through acacia forests and open plains, or relax by the lake browsing local curio shops.
