Duration
10-Day
Kafue National Park, Zambia
Step away from the familiar into a rarer Zambia, designed for travellers drawn to space, silence, and unspoiled landscapes without crowds or choreography. Moving between two of the country's least visited wilderness regions, it prioritises immersion over ticking highlights. Days are active and attentive, guided by experts who read the land through movement and observation. Comfort is discreet, allowing the wild to remain central. This is considered a quietly absorbing adventure with purpose.

Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
You'll arrive in Lusaka and take time to settle before heading into the remote country. This brief pause allows the pace to slow and prepares you for days shaped by wilderness rather than schedules. A gentle transition that helps you leave travel fatigue behind and step into safari rhythm before the bush. Mid-range lodge located in Lusaka (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 2
You'll travel west into Kafue National Park and Ntemwa Busanga Camp, a vast and little-traversed wilderness where space and solitude define the experience. The Busanga ecosystem reveals wide grasslands, seasonal waterways, and shifting light that draws wildlife across open plains, with large herds of antelope, buffalo, and predators moving through the floodplains. Time here is spent moving through the landscape at a measured pace, observing detail and behaviour often unseen in more frequented regions, from lion prides resting in the grass to vast flocks of birds rising at dawn. From camp, you will explore on early morning and late afternoon game drives across the floodplains, when wildlife activity is at its peak. Guided walking safaris offer a closer understanding of the ecosystem, while seasonal boating experiences allow you to drift through shallow channels when the waters rise. Evenings are spent around camp, listening to the sounds of the plains. Mid-range bush camp located inside Busanga Plains (Kafue NP) All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 6
You'll continue south to Kutali Camp in the Lower Zambezi, where the wilderness becomes more intimate and textured. Set within riverine woodland and overlooking sandbanks framed by escarpment backdrops, the camp offers a rich setting for close wildlife encounters and varied exploration. The river provides both orientation and contrast after the open plains of Kafue, shaping each day with movement and light. From camp, experience guided canoe safaris drifting quietly along channels lined with elephants, hippos, and birdlife, as well as walking safaris that reveal tracks, plants, and smaller details of the ecosystem. Boat safaris explore deeper stretches of the river, while game drives follow elephant paths through woodland and open clearings. In the evening, you can head out on a night drive to spot nocturnal creatures or spend time in camp listening to the river, as the Lower Zambezi reveals its quieter, more intimate rhythm over four nights of immersive exploration. Luxury tented camp located inside Lower Zambezi NP All meals included All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Day 10
This off-the-beaten-track journey reveals Zambia through its quieter, wilder spaces. By choosing remote regions and allowing time to explore them fully, it replaces spectacle with understanding. The result is an adventure that feels personal and immersive. It is a journey that rewards curiosity, presence, and a willingness to venture beyond the obvious. Meals at own expense Drinks not included
