Day 1
Your guide will welcome you upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek and accompany you to your hotel. Once you're settled in, you'll receive a tour briefing followed by a relaxed orientation of the city. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. In the evening, dinner will be at your own expense at a restaurant of your choosing. Your guide will be happy to offer suggestions to suit your preferences. Day 2
You’ll depart Windhoek at 8 am, beginning your journey south through Namibia’s scenic cattle farming region toward the arid Namib. Your route stops at the top of the Spreetshoogte Pass, one of the most stunning viewpoints in the country. Pause to take in the vast desert vista below. Descending the winding pass, you’ll reach Solitaire, a characterful desert outpost perfect for stretching your legs and trying its famous apple crumble. From Solitaire, it’s a final 80-kilometre drive to Sesriem. Upon arrival at the lodge in the afternoon, there will be time to relax and settle in, surrounded by the calming beauty of the desert as you prepare for the days ahead. Luxury lodge located less than 1hr drive from Namib-Naukluft NP (Namib Desert) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 3
Your day begins with a pre-dawn wake-up, often the tour highlight. Depart the lodge just before sunrise to reach the park gates as they open, using the cool morning air. The 54-kilometre drive into the Dune Sea passes Dune 45 before arriving at the 4x4 parking. From here, a 5-kilometre 4x4 stretch leads into Deadvlei. At Deadvlei, absorb the surreal beauty: 900-year-old fossilised trees rising from cracked white clay, framed by orange dunes. It's perfect for photography. Please admire without touching to preserve their fragility. For adventure, climb a towering dune (some reach 355 metres) for unforgettable views. Running down into Deadvlei is a fun finish. Continue to Sossusvlei. In the rainy season, it can become a shimmering oasis, drawing birds and wildlife. As the heat rises, return for a late lunch and rest. Later, visit Sesriem Canyon to explore this ancient water-carved formation. The day winds down peacefully for reflection. Day 4
Today you journey from the Namib Desert to the cool Atlantic coast, departing at 8:00 am with scenic stops along the way. First, revisit Solitaire, 83 kilometres in, for its famous apple crumble pie and charming photo opportunities. Continue along the C14 past landmarks like the Tropic of Capricorn, Gaub Pass, and Kuiseb Pass, each offering dramatic desert views. Arrive in Walvis Bay by early afternoon. Stop at the Yacht Club to plan tomorrow’s activities — a dolphin cruise, an adventurous 4x4 trip to Sandwich Harbour, or both. Catamaran Charters or Sandwich Harbour 4x4 are highly recommended. Finally, drive 35 kilometres to Swakopmund and check into your guesthouse for 2 nights. For a special evening, dine at the popular Jetty Restaurant — reservations are recommended. Luxury hotel located in Swakopmund (City) Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 5
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace in the charming coastal town of Swakopmund, known for its relaxed atmosphere and wide range of attractions. You might choose to wander through the local craft market, admire the impressive displays at the Crystal Gallery, take a gentle walk along the historic Jetty, or visit the town’s small but fascinating aquarium. If you prefer a slower day, the peaceful beaches offer a lovely spot to unwind, or you might simply take in the town’s vibrant café culture and diverse culinary offerings. For those seeking more adventure, a dolphin cruise or a guided 4x4 tour to Sandwich Harbour from nearby Walvis Bay are both excellent options, offering spectacular scenery and memorable wildlife encounters. Meals today are at your own expense, and Swakopmund offers a variety of dining choices to suit everyone. Consider The Brauhaus for hearty German fare, The Tug for seafood with ocean views, or Blue Grass for a more contemporary setting — all recommended. Day 6
Today's journey travels north along the Atlantic coastline, filled with unique stops. Though a long drive, the sights make for a rewarding experience. First, explore the lichen fields beyond Henties Bay, an extraordinary display of resilient life in the harsh desert. Continue along the Skeleton Coast to the Cape Cross Seal Colony, home to thousands of Cape fur seals — a lively and unforgettable sight. You'll then pass the haunting Benguela Eagle shipwreck and a nearby abandoned oil rig, relics adding to the region's surreal beauty. Turning inland, stop to see the ancient Welwitschia mirabilis plant, a desert survivor that can live over a thousand years. By late afternoon, arrive at your lodge in Damaraland to unwind after a day of discovery and awe-inspiring landscapes. Luxury lodge located inside Damaraland All meals included Drinks not included
Day 7
After an early breakfast, we set out on a short drive to the renowned Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable collection of ancient Bushman rock engravings. Accompanied by a local guide, you'll explore this extraordinary site, home to one of the largest concentrations of petroglyphs in the world. These engravings, some dating back as far as 10,000 years, offer a captivating insight into the spiritual and cultural life of the San people. Following a relaxed walk through the site, we continue our journey toward Etosha National Park, with a brief stop en route at the Petrified Forest. Believed to be around 280 million years old, this site features ancient tree trunks that have turned to stone over millennia — a striking testament to the power and passage of geological time. By late afternoon, we arrive at our lodge near Etosha, where you’ll have time to relax, perhaps with a refreshing swim, before sitting down to an early dinner in peaceful surroundings. Luxury lodge located just outside Etosha NP All meals included Drinks not included
Day 8
Today is a full-day safari in Etosha National Park's western region. After an early breakfast, we head out in open vehicles to explore the park's scenic waterholes. We'll stop at well-known pans and springs like Okaukuejo, Ombika, and Olifantsbad, where wildlife gathers. Expect to see herds of springbok, plains zebra, and blue wildebeest. Giraffe, kudu, oryx, and more elusive species are also possible. This area offers a good chance of encountering Elephants and the park's big predators, like lions. We especially hope to spot the critically endangered black rhino, often seen at western waterholes in the early morning or late afternoon. Midday, we pause for packed lunches in a shaded picnic area. We continue game viewing into the afternoon, covering new areas before returning to the lodge by late afternoon. There, you can cool off with a swim or relax with a drink at sunset. Luxury lodge located just outside Etosha NP All meals included Drinks not included
Day 9
Today’s journey takes you south through some of Namibia’s largest cattle-farming regions, renowned for producing high-quality beef. We travel through the charming town of Outjo, where a stop at the local bakery is always a delight, before continuing via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja. Here, we make a final curio stop at the street market and enjoy a quick snack at DeeDee’s before the last short stretch to Windhoek. Dinner is not included this evening, but we highly recommend Joe’s Beerhouse for your final night in Namibia. With its vibrant atmosphere and excellent food, it’s a favourite among travellers. Be sure to book a table in advance to secure your spot! Luxury hotel located in Windhoek (City) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

5.0/5Our first Big 5 Safari Tour was nothing short of incredible! From the very start, the excitement was unreal and it only got better with every moment out in the wild. Seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, passionate and made the whole experience even more special. It’s something we’ll never forget, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! But we will repeat it as we still have to „hunt“ leopard 🐆 hehe

Martin took us through the reserve to locate the animals. He answered our questions and taught us so many things about the big 5
Dayo · Australia
We had a very good time at the Dumela Tented Camp. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guides on the game drives were really good. We had luck and could see many different animals.
Kerrin · Germany
