The Okavango Delta is an extraordinary wilderness environment that needs no introduction. A vast wetland paradise in the centre of the Kalahari Desert, fed by rivers from Angolan highlands and seasonal rains. It is an ever-changing kaleidoscope of waterways, reed beds, islands and dry land that grows and shrinks each season like a living creature itself, supporting a breathtaking range of wildlife. Hippos, elephants, lions and buffalos, the shy sitatunga antelopes and the abundant birdlife – a truly amazing wildlife experience. You will drive around the Okavango through small villages, skirting the extremes of the flood to Etosha, where you will follow thick sands tracks into the Okavango Delta panhandle. Your room overlooks a beautiful lagoon and you’ll enjoy a morning mokoro excursion and a sunset motorboat cruise. Mid-range tented camp located inside Okavango Panhandle (Botswana) Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 4
Moremi Game Reserve is the jewel of Botswana and arguably one of the best wildlife-viewing destinations in Africa. Moremi’s wide variety of habitats makes it a birdwatchers' paradise. Surrounding Moremi is a vast wilderness consisting of open grasslands and forest and abundant wildlife and our camp is set on a concession bordering the east of the reserve. Our days are spent on open 4WD game drives in Moremi Game Reserve and on the wildlife concession along the Mababe River watching the abundant wildlife including elephants, hippos, buffalos, lions and other game, both in Moremi Game Reserve and in the private concession reserves adjoining the park. Tents are 3.35m x 3m with beds, linen and an en-suite bathroom with a chemical toilet and bucket shower (hot water provided by the staff.). Bordering Moremi GR (Okavango Delta, Botswana) without fences All meals included Drinks not included
Day 6
You will head north from Moremi to the renowned Savuti section of the Chobe National Park. This is an excellent area for big predators with frequent sightings of lions, leopards, elephants and plains game. You will spend your time on game drives through the dramatic open plains dotted with acacia, and along the Savuti channel where you hope to see the lions and hyenas that make Savuti an outstanding wildlife destination. You will stay overnight in your serviced tented camp. After dinner in your dining tent, fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush. Inside Savuti (Chobe NP, Botswana) All meals included Drinks not included
Day 8
Your next destination is Chobe National Park. You will depart Savuti and head north through the remote wilderness of Botswana to the small town of Kasane and our lodge on the banks of the Chobe River. The following day, you will explore the national park on a morning game drive and spend the rest of the day on the river, enjoying lunch on your cruise boat with spectacular wildlife viewing. This is possibly the most satisfying and relaxing game-viewing activity in Southern Africa. You will get close to the herds of elephants, and have amazing sightings of crocodiles, hippos, fish eagles and many more. As the sun sets, you will head out of the park with some amazing wildlife and sunset photographs. Luxury tented camp located less than 1hr drive from Chobe NP (Botswana) Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 10
You will leave Botswana behind and cross into Zimbabwe and make your way to Victoria Falls. The mighty Zambezi River thunders 100 m over the gorge creating a magnificent spectacle. 5.0/5I started at Victoria Falls and travelled through Botswana and Namibia, camping for most of 21 nights. I was a bit apprehensive as my trip had been delayed 3 years, but Bruce and Grace's communication was helpful, friendly and positive and made me feel happy. The trip itself was magnificent, it surpassed any expectations I had. My guides, Patrick and Moses were knowledgeable, humorous, hard working and catered meals to a high standard. I was well briefed each day about the itinerary, what to expect and lists of highlights. Geography, political and social information as well as superb information about the wildlife was constant and I gained such insights. I was comfortable in my tent and in the van - P and M always made sure to check I was okay. I really felt like I saw what was special, the itinerary was well set. I left Livingstone and Africa feeling like I left home, with a love that grew because my experience was so enriching. I can't thank Sunways, Patrick and Moses enough for the experience of a lifetime. My tour was NB21 and I would do it all again - though I have been told of the Malawi Mozambique tour and am saving my pennies.

We took the 16 day accommodated Game Tracker through South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. We enjoyed every day of our trip. It was our first safari and so everything was new to us; we never tired of seeing the birds and animals and even just driving though the countryside. Our guides Chris and Joseph were outstanding. They always gave us a briefing about what to expect the next day, after dinner in the evening. They provided a wealth of information about the birds, animals, the culture and the landscape and even the economies of the countries we visited. We had a nice mix off meals in lodges/restaurants and meals made by the guides. Everything was delicious and by and large very healthy as well. While we were in Okavango, we had koodoo (farmed, not wild) stew. The lodges selected by Sunway were great- very comfortable and they usually had very nice grounds that were good for bird watching. Some of the restaurants are still learning about the logistics of serving customers and getting them their bills. But the guides are aware of this and so we usually placed our orders ahead of time so there were not long delays getting our meals. We absolutely detest camping, so we were not big fans of the accommodation in the Okavango Delta. If you like camping, it would be great. But anyway, we loved the whole Okavango experience. It was definitely worth any shortcomings with the accommodation. The local guides selected by Sunway for the most part were excellent. for example, our guide for Thebes River in Botswana seemed to know exactly how to position the boat and the safari vehicle to get the best pictures. Our favourite parts of the trip were the Thebes River cruise and game drive and the salt pan (for the birds). The vehicle we used to get from venue to venue was called the red elephant. It is a custom designed truck. The seating was comfortable and you got good views from the windows. We always had snacks available, mostly local fruits. Of course what everyone goes on a safari for is the animals. We got great views of lions, buffalo, hippos, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, koodoos, impala, monkeys and much more in many of the places we visited. The Sunway trip was great value and we would definitely consider another trip with Sunway
