The Zomba Plateau
Depart Blantyre for the Zomba Plateau, where cool forest air, tumbling streams, and sweeping vistas create a refreshing change of pace. Liwonde National Park
The journey continues into Liwonde National Park, Malawi’s premier wildlife sanctuary, where the Shire River winds through grassland and acacia forest, drawing elephants, buffalo, and antelope to its banks. Staying at Mvuu Camp, your family can enjoy a variety of immersive safari experiences. Daytime game drives reveal the park’s thriving wildlife, and lion and cheetah are often seen, while tranquil boat safaris drift past hippos and crocodiles at eye level. As the sun sets, evening and night game drives offer a chance to encounter elusive nocturnal species.
