Victoria Falls Airport Transfer to Lodge
On arrival at the Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be met by an Africa Zim Travel Representative and transferred to your chosen hotel. Victoria Falls
After breakfast, you will enjoy a tour of the Victoria Falls. You will stop at various vantage points to view the falls and walk through the rainforest whilst witnessing the rainbows and feeling the spray and thundering noise of water falling into the gorge. The rest of your afternoon will be spent at leisure, where you can book one of many activities with your guide. (BD). Day 3
Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park
After breakfast, the trip departs to one of Africa's finest havens for wildlife, Hwange National Park, which is home to herds of presidential elephants. It is also home to many predators and endangered species and varied birdlife. On arrival, you will enjoy lunch overlooking the beautiful plains. You will proceed on an afternoon game drive. After sundowners, a dinner will be enjoyed to the sounds of the night. (BLD) Sable Sands Lodge or Hwange Safari Lodge or similar (2 nights). Day 4
Hwange National Park
Dawn breaks with a morning game drive through the vast plains to experience the drama of the previous night. We hope to view more of the many species that live in the national park whilst exploring the magnificent landscape. You will return to the lodge for an afternoon siesta. Later, you'll proceed on an afternoon game drive in the Hwange National Park. The game drives are included. Day 5
Hwange National Park to Matobo National Park
After breakfast, you'll depart for Matopos National Park. You will pass the second largest city, Bulawayo, with wide tree-lined streets and is surrounded by beautiful parks. Within the city are many examples of early Victorian buildings which are maintained by the Bulawayo City council and landlords as heritage sites. You will proceed to the Matobo National Park. (BLD). Matobo National Park
A full day will be spent exploring the area and some highlights include cave paintings, panoramas of the countryside at “View of the World”. Matobo Hills to Great Zimbabwe Ruins
This morning after breakfast, you'll depart for Masvingo, the Ancient City, where you will be inspired by the Ruins of Great Zimbabwe, built in 1200 AD. The Ruined City of Great Zimbabwe is the largest and most significant ancient monument south of the Sahara and only second to the Egyptian pyramids. Here, your guide will take you through the Acropolis, the Great Enclosure and the Conical Tower in the afternoon and one you will enjoy the sunset. On arrival at the hotel, you will be able to take in beautiful, calm views and serene settings. Perfect organized tour for two persons to see wild animals and beautifull landscapes
We felt well advised by africa zim travel&tours even before booking. The whole tour went wonderfully. Times and agreements were honoured and our expectations of what we wanted to see were always met or exceeded. Mtho, our driver and sometimes guide, told us a lot about the countries, people and animals and had the patience to tell us the same thing sometimes four times if we didn't understand it or had already forgotten it. He always spread a good mood with his manner. He drove us safely over the sometimes bumpy and dusty roads. The selected hotels, rooms and meals were consistently good to luxurious. Overall, it was a varied and exciting trip and well worth the price.
