Day 1
Your safari adventure begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi to the world-renowned Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife reserve. En route, stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint to admire its dramatic escarpments and panoramic landscapes before continuing to Narok for a hot lunch. Proceed through rolling plains and Maasai homelands toward the Mara, where endless savannahs welcome you. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing drink and seamless check-in at your comfortable safari camp with en-suite tents. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the camp, or opt for a visit to a Maasai village at an extra cost to experience their rich culture and traditional way of life. Day 2
Have breakfast and set off for a full day Game Drive and enjoy the beautiful Mara savannah grassland landscape on rolling hills and its ‘residents’. It is best known for wildebeest migration which is seasonal between the months of July, August and September. If lucky enough you will view the Big 5 in complete but you won’t miss one or two of the big five if not all. It is home to a variety of birds species which is a magnificent site. Have a picnic lunch in the wilderness then proceed with the search for wild animals till late evening. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Day 3
Have breakfast and proceed for an enroute game drive as you exit the Mara, enjoying final wildlife sightings before departing for Nakuru with a lunch stop in Mai Mahiu. Enjoy the beautiful sight of Mount Longonot on your way and views of Lake Naivasha from afar. You may engage in optional activities such as a boat ride and a visit to Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha if time allows and at an extra cost. Day 4
Have an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its flamingos, rhino sanctuary, and diverse wildlife species. Enjoy sightings of animals such as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and various bird species as you explore the park’s scenic landscapes. After the game drive, depart for Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Travel via Nairobi and continue along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, enjoying scenic views along the journey. Arrive in Amboseli in the evening in time for dinner and overnight stay at the camp. Day 5
Have breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park, renowned for its close-range wildlife viewing and impressive elephant herds led by experienced matriarchs. Enjoy stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and observe a wide variety of bird species within the park. Later, have a picnic lunch in the serene savannah before continuing with the afternoon exploration. Day 6
After breakfast, you transfer to the Kenya–Tanzania border for immigration formalities before continuing to Arusha. Upon arrival, you check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed afternoon at leisure. Arusha, located at the base of Mount Meru, serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Day 7
Departing Arusha in the morning, you drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant populations. You enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink. Lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species are commonly seen. Day 8
After breakfast, you journey toward the Serengeti, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you enter the Central Serengeti, the landscape opens into endless plains dotted with rocky kopjes. An afternoon game drive introduces you to this iconic ecosystem, rich in predators and plains game. Day 9
A full day of game drives allows you to explore different areas of the central Serengeti. Lions rest on rocky outcrops, cheetahs scan the horizon, and hyenas roam the grasslands. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra. Day 10
After a morning game drive, you depart the Serengeti and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the crater rim, you enjoy breathtaking panoramic views into the caldera. You descend into the crater for a game drive on the fertile floor, home to black rhinos, hippos, buffalo, flamingos, and dense predator populations. Overnight on the crater rim or nearby highlands. Day 11
After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After lunch, ascend back to the crater rim and begin your scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari. Day 12
Depart from Arusha in the morning and proceed towards the Namanga border for immigration and customs clearance. After completing the border formalities, continue with the journey into Kenya, enjoying scenic views along the way. Proceed to Nairobi via the Nairobi–Namanga highway with stopovers for refreshments.
