Day 1
Airport - Moshi
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our driver, who will assist you with airport procedures. Afterward, you'll be taken directly to your hotel, where you can relax and recover from your long flight. If possible, your guide will meet you in the evening for a brief introduction. Day 2
Machame Gate - Machame Camp
After breakfast, your climb begins at Machame Gate (1830m). You'll trek through the lush lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, gradually gaining altitude while enjoying the diverse flora and fauna of the rainforest. You'll arrive at the first Machame Hut, located at 3000m above sea level. If the weather is clear, you might catch your first glimpse of the glaciated dome of Kibo in the evening, depending on the clouds. The trek from Machame Gate to Machame Hut typically takes about 6-7 hours. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 3
Machame Camp - Shira Camp
Today’s climb is shorter as you ascend a steep ridge to a small semicircular cliff known as the picnic site. From there, you’ll continue up a gentler slope through the lower alpine moorland, renowned for its beautiful wild alpine flowers. The most spectacular views of Kibo Peak can be enjoyed from Shira Camp, where you will spend the night. The trek from Machame Hut to Shira Camp (3840m) typically takes about 4-6 hours. Day 4
Shira Camp - Barranco Valley
Today, you’ll enjoy a gentle ascent with stunning panoramic views as you traverse the southwest side of Kilimanjaro. You’ll pass underneath the Lava Tower and the final section of the Western Breach. After a hot lunch at the base of the Lava Tower (4600m), you’ll descend to the bottom of the Great Barranco Valley (3900m). The trek from Shira Camp to Barranco Valley typically takes about 5-7 hours. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 5
Baranco Camp - Barafu Camp
Today’s journey begins with a steep climb up the eastern wall, bringing you just below the Heim Glacier, where you'll be treated to spectacular views of Kilimanjaro. You'll then ascend the Great Barranco Wall, which separates you from the southeastern slopes of Kibo, before descending into the alpine desert of the Karanga Valley. After a short break for a hot lunch, you’ll tackle a steep climb out of Karanga, followed by an easier path on compacted scree, offering wide views of the dry landscape leading up to Barafu Camp. From Barafu Camp (4600m), you’ll have views of both Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. After a hot lunch at the camp, the rest of the day is yours to rest and prepare for the final ascent, followed by an early night for the summit walk. The trek from Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp typically takes about 7-9 hours. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 6
Barafu Camp - to Summit - Mweka Camp
You'll wake up before midnight, and in the cover of darkness, we'll begin a steep climb over loose volcanic scree, using well-graded zig-zags. A slow but steady pace will take us to the rim of the main crater, Stella Point, at 5,735m. We'll rest there for a few minutes to enjoy the stunning sunrise over Mawenzi. If you’re feeling strong, you can continue on a two-hour round trip along the crater rim to the summit (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. After taking a moment to appreciate your incredible achievement, we'll descend rapidly back to Barafu Camp for some refreshments. From Barafu Camp, we’ll continue our descent to Mweka Camp (3100m), completing a challenging day of about 13-15 hours of walking. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 7
Mweka Camp - Mweka Gate - Moshi
A gentle walk today will take you down through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. Those who successfully reached the summit will receive their certificates. After a celebratory lunch at Mweka Gate, we’ll drive back to Moshi for dinner and your overnight stay. The trek from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate typically takes about 3-5 hours. Day 8
Moshi - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, the tour departs from Moshi. Our first stop is Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterwards, we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. Dinner and overnight at Kizumba Campsite. Day 9
Karatu Town - Serengeti National Park
Start your day with an early breakfast at 6:00 am before embarking on a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is Tanzania's largest and most renowned park, celebrated for its endless plains and the spectacular wildebeest migration. Here, you'll encounter herds of lions and other predators such as hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards. As you explore, keep an eye out for crocodiles and hippos in the Grumeti River, as well as giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. After a day filled with incredible wildlife sightings, you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti. Day 10
Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
Start your day with a morning game drive in Serengeti, where you'll have the chance to spot a wide array of wildlife in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you'll drive to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, with an optional stopover at Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site. Upon reaching the crater rim, you’ll enjoy dinner and settle in for the night with stunning views of the crater floor. Please note that Simba Camp is the only commonly used campsite in the area, and the facilities can sometimes be basic. Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you'll embark on a half-day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, where you have a great chance of spotting the Big Five: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard. Lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic site on the crater floor, surrounded by the stunning scenery. After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to the camp at Mto Wa Mbu for dinner and your overnight stay. Day 12
Lake Manyara National- to Moshi Via Arusha
After breakfast, you will check out and depart with a packed lunch for an exciting game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The lake takes up a large portion of the park, and the forest begins just after crossing the park gate, along the base of the Great Rift Valley, with the hot spring to the west. The famous tree-climbing lion, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and baboon troops can all be found in the park. You will also see the magnificent pink flamingo, ostrich, Egyptian geese, and other animals. After your picnic lunch, you will go on an afternoon game drive and then to a Maasai village to learn about the Maasai people’s various activities and cultures. During in the evening you will arrive to Moshi via Arusha or drive direct to the Aiport for the departure back home or Fly to Zanzibar. Exceptional tour operator!
I had an unforgettable adventure on Mount Kilimanjaro with MJ Safaris. This was my first long trek and the highest altitude I’ve ever been to. However, thanks to the incredible team, I was able to complete the trek and enjoy every moment of it. A huge thank you to my guide, Silvano. He was exceptional at pacing, ensuring we took breaks at the right moments, which was especially important given the challenging nature of the trek. He was also incredibly knowledgeable, knowing every tree and flower on the mountain. His passion for climbing and nature was truly inspiring, and it kept me going, not just on Kilimanjaro, but in my future mountain adventures as well. The climbing crew was incredibly kind and encouraging, which made the trek feel like a team effort. Every day, I was greeted with warm smiles. The porters climbed incredibly fast and always helped find the best spots to set up camp. The food and camping equipment provided by MJ Safaris were the best at the campsite—not only for me but also for the climbing crew. It’s clear that MJ Safaris truly values the well-being of their staff, which made the entire experience feel even more supportive and comfortable. Additionally, the logistics were flawless. I visited Tanzania last September included climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and Safari. Mr. Athuman attended myself for climbing Mt. kilimanjaro, which I selected Lemosho route for 8days. He has more than 300 times which guide to the summit. So it is enough experience, especially last attacking to the summit. He helped myself very much to guide to the summit. Also Mr. Nelly guided to the Safari, included Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti field. He showed many nature and animals politely. These guys are very friendly and professional. You may feel relaxing and enjoy Tanzania very much. I recommend 100%.
