Your 12-day safari adventure begins upon arrival in Nairobi, where you’ll be greeted by your guide and drive to Samburu National Reserve. Full Day Game Drive in Samburu National Reserve
Today, you’ll embark on a full day of exploration in Samburu with two game drives—one in the morning and another in the afternoon. This reserve offers incredible wildlife viewing, from the “Samburu Big Five” (Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk) to the stunning landscapes surrounding the Ewaso Nyiro River. Enjoy a morning game drive in Samburu before driving south to the Aberdare National Park. This cool, lush park is known for its lush forests, waterfalls, and sightings of elephants and other forest animals. Explore Aberdare and Transfer to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, explore the Aberdare further with a morning game drive for wildlife watching activities or nature walk which is optional activity. The park’s misty, forested landscapes are perfect for spotting forest-dwelling animals like elephants, bushbucks, and various bird species. Afterward, head to Lake Naivasha, where you can enjoy a boat ride on the lake to see hippos and various bird species, but this is an optional activity. Overnight at a lakeside lodge.
