Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Upon arrival in the small town of Kasane, your guide will brief you on the preparation of the tour, the dos and don’ts, as well as the optional tours. The Chobe River forms part of the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park as well as much of Botswana's border with Namibia's Caprivi Strip, now known as the Kavango Province. The Chobe River forms an integral part of the Botswana safari experience and combines easily with the Okavango, Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta, and the Kalahari. The day will be kick-started by an afternoon boat cruise in order to marvel at the aquatic bird life of the Chobe River, with the hope of seeing the last remaining population of elephants grazing and swimming the Chobe River, as well as seeing lions in pursuit of their prey. After the boat cruise, you will head to your campsite located adjacent to the Chobe River. Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
With an optional day trip to Victoria Falls, you will start the day by embarking on a game drive along the Chobe River. The drive will be taken in the morning, with the chances of viewing herds of buffalo heading for the watering hole, but not on all occasions, followed by predators such as the Chobe lions. After the game drive, there is an option of a village tour before heading back to the site for a siesta and preparation for the afternoon game activity. The attraction areas of Kasane include the Snake Parks, Seboba Springs, and the crocodile farm. The afternoon will be kick-started by an afternoon game drive along the Chobe River and stand a chance to view a game that is very active during the twilight of the day. After the game drive, you will head back to the camp for dinner and prepare for the next transfer to the other destination. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
On the third day, you will leave early in the morning for the Savute Marsh. Savuti regions constitute a rich diversity of habitats that fall mostly within the boundaries of Chobe National Park. The channel has been a subject of great intrigue throughout history for its mysterious patterns of flow that experts believe to be influenced by underground tectonic forces. Upon arrival in Savute Marsh, you will prepare the camp and embark on an afternoon game drive along the Savute marsh where the pride of lions has always been seen hunting or just relaxing during the heat of the day. Inside Savuti (Chobe NP) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 4
Because of its diversity of prolific wildlife viewing, you will continue with our game drives to witness what the marsh has to offer. The drive will be conducted in the early morning when the temperatures are cool, and this is always the best time to check on the game, as the temperatures do permit wildlife to roam the grasslands. After the morning game drive, you will head back to our campsite for a catnap and mouth-watering lunch prepared in the open space by our professional chefs. The afternoon will again be spent on game drives, as there are no boating or guided walks. The drive will take you through the ancient river channel that has a myriad of flowing patterns. Inside Savuti (Chobe NP) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 5
In the early morning of your fifth day, while exploring this magnificent landscape, you will take a drive to the Linyanti swamps. Just like the Savute Marsh, the Linyanti forms part of the great Chobe River. It is famous for its concentration of savannah elephants, pride of lions, sable, and roan antelopes. The transfer/game drive will take you to our site, where we will set up our camp. Lunch will be prepared while we wait for the right time to embark on the afternoon game drive of this wonderland. In the afternoon, the adventure begins with a drive along the road networks that connect the river and the dryland. Your guide will narrate the history of Linyanti and its formation while searching for the last concentration of the endangered African painted dogs. Inside Linyanti Concession (Chobe NP) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 6
With vast land to explore, you will be traversing the Linyanti swamps commonly known as the mini Okavango. Here, you will drive along the public areas, as there are private concessions that are not permitted for private companies. Here, you will drive and search for what the wildlife reserve has to offer. Just before the heat of the day, you will head back to camp for our siesta and lunch. In the afternoon, you will then continue with the drive along the path that is frequented by game. The drive will take you to some places that you have missed in previous drives. This will give you a chance to marvel at the beauty that Linyanti has to offer. The drive will be completed by a return leg to the camp, where you will refresh and have your dinner under the sky studded with glittering stars. Inside Linyanti Concession (Chobe NP) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 7
In the early morning, you will complement our transfer with a game drive en route to the Khwai region. The Khwai region forms part of the famous Moremi game reserve that is well known for its large concentration of game despite its small size. Camping will be done along the banks of the Khwai River. Upon arrival in the Khwai region, you will head straight to the campsite where our camp hand will prepare the tents awaiting our lunch. After the game drive, you will head back to camp to rest from the previous long drive. The rest of the day will be spent at your wish. In the afternoon, we will drive along the Khwai River, marveling at hippos that reside in the Khwai River, with the chance of spotting the shy leopard stalking animals that frequent the river to graze on sweet grasses that grow along the riverbank. Just before sunset, you will head back to camp in time for dinner, with a refreshing storytelling by our guides just before we retire to our tents. Inside Khwai Concession (Okavango Delta) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 8
Because of its rich diversity of birdlife and animal life, you will continue adventuring in the Khwai as opposed to the previous day. The drive will see us going into places that are less travelled in search of the endangered that are active in the afternoon. The game drive will be closed by heading back to camp for dinner, refreshing, storytelling, and retiring to tents. Inside Khwai Concession (Okavango Delta) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 9
A combination of game drive and transfers will see you leaving the Khwai region of Moremi Game reserve traversing deeper into Moremi Game Reserve to Xakanaxa. The Xakanaxa is located in the heart of Moremi Game Reserve, and it’s famous for its pride of lions that rule the area. The transfer will take you to your camp, where you will refresh, awaiting your lunch and the afternoon game drives. In the afternoon, you will embark on a drive along the water channels that are fed by the Okavango Delta. Here, you will search for the game that comes for a drink along the permanent lagoons of the Xakanaxa area. We will try to see if we can see the endangered rhinos that have been introduced to the delta in previous years. Inside Moremi GR (Okavango Delta) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 10
Because of limited time and the fatigue from the previous transfer, the day will be kick-started with a morning game drive to complement what we have previously come across during the afternoon game drive. Here, you will expand your search for wildlife and go places that are not frequently visited while keeping track of the designated routes. The drive will end by heading back to the campsite, where you will relax, await our lunch, and prepare for the afternoon game drives. In the afternoon, the drive will take you on the same route but driving in the opposite direction, searching for what you can come across. Fauna and flora are very abundant in Moremi Game Reserve, and the area requires a lot of time to learn and enjoy the place. The drive will complement what we have already learned from the previous drive, giving us a glimpse of the reserve. After the game drive, you will head back to camp for dinner, refreshing, storytelling around the fireplace, and retiring to your tents. Inside Moremi GR (Okavango Delta) All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 11
On the 11th day, you will break the camp and head to the gateway to the Okavango Delta, Maun. Upon arrival in Maun, you will have the option of scenic flights over the delta. Travellers suggest that, for one to be entirely satisfied with this wonder, one needs to see it from above and from the land. The guide will take you shopping for your personal supplies if needed, and upon conclusion of the shopping/scenic flights, you will head to a Mokoro station on the edge of the delta, where you will find our traditional dugout canoe awaiting our adventure. The cruise will see you meandering the water channels of the delta towards an island where you will set your camp and refresh from a long drive from the Moremi game drive. Inside Okavango Delta All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 12
The day will start with a guided walk in one of the Okavango Delta's islands, where your guide will take you through the fauna and flora of the Delta. The walk will be done on the islands of the delta. In the afternoon, the adventure continues, where you will cruise further exploring the water channel of the Delta with an effort to see what the Delta has to offer. The Mokoro cruise can be complemented by walks depending on what interests you. Inside Okavango Delta All meals included Non-alcoholic drinks
Day 13
As this day would be the last day of your ultimate safari adventure, you will be leaving the delta and heading back to the town of Maun for departures to your next destination. After a full breakfast, you will be driven to the Maun International Airport. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Non-alcoholic drinks

My Wife and I, plus 5 other friends, undertook an 12 days Bush Baby Tour in mid-November 2017 - starting from Maun and ending at Victoria Falls, from the very start of the many, communications, each and every one was answered promptly and on time by MG. The camping set up exceeded expectations. As seasoned campers we were delighted with our set up. Bed and en suite with hot water supplied each night - luxury. At the end of each day of game tracking what a sight it was to come into camp to find the campfire burning and Ben and Kilos waiting to welcome us and, whilst reliving the wonders of the day, the delicious aromas of campfire cooking. Our guide, Captain, was exceptional - what a wonderful understanding and love of nature he has. We saw 120 species of birds and 30 species of animals - the most exciting highlight was seeing the rhino however seeing a pack of 14 wild dogs made it even more fun. I must not forget the support crew who cooked, boiled water and packed up our tents every two or three days and had every thing set up and ready at each new camp - very professional. highlights were the Mokoro trip through the lily pads of the Okavango swamp, skirting snorting hippos, sighting beautiful birds and the silence of it all. Then the unexpected brunch set up under a giant baobab tree with giraffe and impala serving as a backdrop. But then when the elephants ambled past our camp - what a thrill to see these giants from ground level. Well I guess every day was a highlight. The transfers between Botswana and Zimbabwe were spot on and the 'smoke that roars', the Vic Falls. Five stars to MG and his team
