Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Enjoy an early morning pick-up followed by a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, located south of Lake Bogoria within the Great Rift Valley. Straddling the equator, Lake Nakuru is world-famous for its striking alkaline waters and spectacular birdlife, particularly its vast flocks of flamingos that often create a vivid pink shoreline. In addition to its birdlife, the park is an important rhino sanctuary, home to more than 40 black rhinos and over 60 white rhinos, making it one of the best places in Kenya to see these endangered species. Other wildlife commonly seen includes giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of predators. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive around the lake and surrounding acacia woodland. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at your selected campsite or lodge. Mid-range lodge located inside Lake Nakuru NP (Kenya) Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
Depart early in the morning for Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the few remaining places on Earth where wildlife still thrives in vast, largely undisturbed numbers, much as it once did across Africa’s plains and forests. As the northern extension of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, the Masai Mara plays a vital role in the spectacular seasonal migration of wildebeest and zebras, closely followed by their natural predators. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to begin exploring this world-renowned reserve and its abundant wildlife. Note: Accommodation can be upgraded to higher-end options or adjusted to more economical alternatives, with corresponding price changes. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Masai Mara NR (Kenya) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve, with a packed lunch provided to maximize time in the wilderness. The reserve is renowned for its striking black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife, and it is one of the few places where sightings of the Big Five are possible within a single morning. Cheetahs are frequently encountered on the open plains and are sometimes seen resting in the shade near safari vehicles during the heat of the day. For bird enthusiasts, the Masai Mara is equally rewarding, with nearly 500 recorded bird species, including numerous eagles, hawks, and falcons; several species of vultures and storks; impressive bustards such as the kori bustard—the world’s heaviest flying bird—and a variety of colorful sunbirds. Note: Accommodation can be upgraded to higher-end options or adjusted to more economical alternatives, with corresponding price changes. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Masai Mara NR (Kenya) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
On this day, you will be transferring from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park (through Isebania border). This transfer takes almost the whole day but during a great part of the journey (in the morning in Masai Mara and in the afternoon in the Serengeti), you will be doing game drive as well. You'll enjoy the afternoon game drive en-route to your tented camp. Accommodation can be upgraded to higher-level options (at extra costs) or downgraded to more economic ones (price reduction). Mid-range tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP (Tanzania) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
The legendary Serengeti National Park is world-famous as the stage of the Great Migration. Your journey into the park is a safari experience in itself, as you ascend through the Ngorongoro Highlands and pause at the crater rim before the vast Serengeti plains unfold before you. The name Serengeti comes from the Kiswahili word meaning “endless plains,” an apt description of this immense ecosystem. Covering approximately 18,000 square kilometers, the Serengeti supports more than two million large mammals, including vast herds of wildebeest, plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. These numbers attract powerful predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. The park is also home to a wide variety of smaller mammals and nearly 500 bird species, making every game drive rich and diverse. On the second day, after breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, with both morning and afternoon safaris to explore different areas of the park and maximize wildlife sightings. Mid-range tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP (Tanzania) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 8
Very early in the morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife viewing in one of the world’s most remarkable natural sanctuaries. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool and further game drives in the afternoon, ascend the steep crater walls and continue with your onward journey. Continue to the hotel for the night. Mid-range lodge located 1-2hr drive from Ngorongoro Crater All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 9
After breakfast, depart and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. This scenic park is renowned for its iconic baobab trees, large elephant herds, and rich wildlife diversity. Tarangire is also a haven for birdlife, with an impressive variety of species recorded throughout the park. Wildlife sightings may include buffalo, giraffes, elephants, impalas, and predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, making the day both varied and rewarding. Mid-range tented camp located inside Tarangire NP (Tanzania) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
