Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our customer service representative and assisted to your vehicle for transfer to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy time to relax, followed by an overnight stay as you settle in for your journey ahead. Day 2
After an early breakfast, check out and depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 4–5 hours through the countryside and local communities. Upon arrival, enjoy an en-route game drive as you make your way through the park. Amboseli is renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and abundant wildlife. You may encounter lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, and possibly wild dogs, as well as buffalo, zebra, and large herds of elephants gathering around waterholes fed by Kilimanjaro’s melting snows. Day 3
Amboseli National Park is renowned for its vast herds of elephants set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Although the snow-capped summit lies across the border, its majestic presence dominates the landscape—especially at dawn when it rises above the clouds in breathtaking clarity. Beyond its iconic elephants, the park hosts abundant wildlife, including buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest, and other plains game. Begin your day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active and views of Kilimanjaro are at their best. After breakfast, enjoy a short mid-morning drive, followed by time to relax during the heat of the day. In the late afternoon, head out once more as temperatures cool and animals become active again, continuing your game drive into the evening. Return for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 4
After breakfast, check out and depart Amboseli National Park, driving approximately 2–3 hours to the Namanga Border Crossing. After completing immigration formalities, change vehicles and continue for a further 2–3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Arrive in time for a late afternoon game drive, if time permits. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. During the dry season, wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, offering excellent sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of predators, all set against the scenic backdrop of the Maasai Steppe and distant highlands. After your game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay. Day 5
Start your day with an early breakfast, then enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, accompanied by a picnic lunch. Discover rich wildlife, including the Big Four and numerous plains animals, set among scenic landscapes of baobabs and open savannah. Later, depart for Karatu, a drive of approximately 2–2.5 hours, where you will unwind, followed by dinner and an overnight stay. After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater—often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World”—a vast caldera formed by ancient volcanic activity within the Great Rift Valley. The drive from Karatu to the crater area takes approximately 1–1.5 hours. The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and buffalo, as well as over 400 bird species. Afterward, continue with a scenic game drive en route from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately 4–5 hours. You will be transferred at 05:00 hrs from your lodge to the balloon launch site in Serengeti National Park. After a safety briefing, watch the balloon inflate before taking off at dawn for a one-hour flight over the plains. Enjoy breathtaking sunrise views and wildlife sightings as you drift silently above the savannah. After landing, celebrate with a champagne toast, followed by a full English bush breakfast and a commemorative flight certificate. Day 11
After an early breakfast at 06:30, set out to explore Lake Victoria, shared by Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. Depart from the lodge’s beach by canoe to Mwaburugu Village, where you will explore on foot before returning by canoe, accompanied by the villagers’ rhythmic songs. Along the way, your guide will share insights into traditional fishing methods, local culture, and the rich birdlife of the lake. This serene morning experience coincides with fishermen returning with their overnight catch. Return to the lodge by 09:30. Day 14
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos, pelicans, and other waterbirds. This alkaline lake lies at the floor of the Rift Valley and serves as a rhino sanctuary, offering a high chance of seeing both black and white rhinos. You may also encounter a variety of other wildlife, including waterbuck, impala, gazelle, and buffalo. Enjoy the game drive until noon before returning for an early hot lunch. After lunch, depart for Nairobi (approximately 2–3 hours), arriving in the late afternoon for drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
