About a 4-hour drive (240km) southeast of Nairobi, Amboseli National Park is well known for its herds of big-tusked elephants. A scenic park in its own right, it's synonymous with 2 particular things - majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania. It is Kenya's second most famous national park after the Masai Mara National Reserve. It was declared a UNESCO-Mab Biosphere Reserve in 1991.

Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Depart from Nairobi at 7 a.m. after a delightful breakfast and drive south across the Athi Plains, home of the Maasai, and on to Amboseli. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of wild African elephants as well as vast herds of wildebeests and many other animals, including giraffes, lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas, and antelopes. Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, provides a beautiful backdrop. We arrive early mid-day and freshen up, followed by lunch and a short rest. Later, you explore the Amboseli plains on an afternoon game drive. Return for dinner and overnight at your camp. Amboseli National Park to Nairobi
You will wake up early for your morning game drive, the best time to see Mount Kilimanjaro. The early morning light reveals the mountain, turned into a dark hue of purple and its snow into an ethereal pink. The sight of the mountain high above herds of elephants crossing the Amboseli plains is a timeless African image. You head back to the lodge for breakfast and then pack your bags for your return to Nairobi. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Perfect trip
A 6 day hike at Mt Kenya was very well organised, well managed and a wonderful experience. Great team, a really interesting walk (constantly changing environments) and a successful summit at just under 5,000 metres. Best tour operator to visit Masai Mara
Keishi tour was by far the cheapest luxury solution to visit Masai Mara I found online, and it was perfect. The driver made a miracle to bring us back to Nairobi in time for our flight, as there were massive traffic on the road. The Sopa Lodge was amaging, clean and safe.
