Upon arrival, explore the King’s Palace Museum, where you’ll step into Rwanda’s rich royal history with an engaging guided tour. By 10:30 AM, continue to Nyungwe National Park, arriving just in time for your midday adventure amidst the captivating natural beauty. Upon arrival at Nyungwe, embark on the exhilarating canopy walk! Suspended 70 meters above the lush rainforest floor, this 160-meter-long bridge provides breathtaking views of ancient treetops, exotic birds, and vibrant wildlife. Traverse this awe-inspiring path on the Igishigishi trail or take it in as part of a guided experience along the Imbaraga or Umuyove trails. 5:00 AM - Begin your day with an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking adventure in Nyungwe National Park. As the forest awakens with the sounds of nature, immerse yourself in the magic of the wild. Guided by expert trackers, you’ll encounter playful chimpanzees in their natural habitat, an awe-inspiring experience surrounded by the misty beauty and rich biodiversity of Nyungwe. 11:00 AM - Return to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch and take a moment to relive the morning’s unforgettable encounters. Later, at 2:30 PM, embark on a scenic drive back to Kigali, passing through Rwanda’s rolling hills and charming countryside. By 8:30 PM, arrive in Kigali, marking the end of your incredible 2-day adventure, a journey filled with wonder, discovery, and lasting memories.
