Day 1
Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
We will collect you from your hotel or the Zanzibar ferry terminal and transfer you to the SGR station in Dar es Salaam for your train journey to the Morogoro region, which takes approximately one to two hours. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will meet you and drive you to Mikumi National Park, where you will enjoy a late-morning game drive continuing into the afternoon. After lunch, there will be time to relax before heading out on an afternoon-to-evening game drive. Following sunset, your driver-guide will exit the park at the main gate and take you to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay—resting in preparation for the next day's bush walking safari. Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam by Train
After breakfast, you will embark on a 3-hour bush walking safari combined with a village tour. During the walk, you will learn about local traditions and customs, with opportunities for birdwatching and observing the smaller details of the ecosystem often missed on game drives. After the tour, we will drive to Morogoro town for lunch and a short break before continuing to the SGR station for your train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, our driver will transfer you to your hotel, the airport, or the ferry terminal, marking the end of your unforgettable tour. Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Non-alcoholic drinks
