Transfer From Kigali to Rubavu - Gisenyi
Morning: You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Gisenyi - Lake Kivu with a stopover at Sooko café for some coffee or just to use the bathroom. Proceed on the drive to Gisenyi approx. 3 hours drive arriving in time for lunch. You will do boat ride (using a wooden motor boat) on Lake Kivu. This offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills, small fishing boats, some Islands and the experience takes approx. 1 -2 hours. I had the chance to visit the Akagera Park with my family. It was an incredible and extraordinary moment to see. To see so many animals of different species in a landscape as beautiful as the akagera park I recommend it to everyone. Our tour guide was great with us, they gave us the name of each species we could see and explained to us how they live. On topar of that he was funny and professional. He was able to speak to us in English, Kinyarwanda and even a little French so that everyone could understand. It was a very nice day for us and I advise you. In addition to that quality/price levels are very reasonable.

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he made us feel comfortable throughout the tour. The communication and service were great, and it was good value for money. He explained every animal in detail and even made sure we saw a lion before we left.
