Day 1
You'll depart for Tsavo East, entering through Bachuma Gate, and spotting game en route. You’ll be in time for lunch. After lunch at Taita Hills Game Sanctuary and check in at the lodge. You'll embark on an afternoon game drive, which ends after sunset. The sight of dust-red elephants wallowing, rolling, and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of the palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300-kilometer-long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, makes for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust–red elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk, and the prolific birdlife features 500 recorded species. Luxury lodge located inside Taita Hills WS All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
After breakfast, you'll embark on a mid-morning game drive through this reserve. After lunch, you'll depart for Mombasa and be dropped off at your beach hotel/beach, or the airport for departure. The Taita Hills Wildlife Conservancy derives its name from the surrounding clusters of hills and is an integral part of the Eastern Arc forests, classified as a biodiversity hotspot. The conservancy covers an area of 28,000 acres of mosaic habitat where the plant physiognomy is riverine forest, savanna wood, and grassland. The vegetation formation is usually dense, stratified, and always dominated by Acacia /Commiphora trees, and may appear to be evergreen in wet areas, such as in the central lowlands of the sanctuary. 5.0/5To start off let’s be honest; there are so many different safari companies it can be overwhelming. Almost to the point they appear to be a scam. These reviews seem to never say anything negative and and after our safari I can see why. But, to start off with one minor negative here it is: There was some slight confusion around pickup timing (partly my fault). We had a 3 am arrival at Nairobi airport and our driver was about 30 min late which had us anxious but sure enough, the driver showed up at the international arrivals area with our name. Due to laws around driving tourists, we had to wait until sunrise (just after 6 am), until we could actually leave the airport and begin our safari. This wasn’t explicitly communicated with my booking contact Max but that was ok. We had a nice little breakfast and got to chatting with our driver. Only other negative is that we couldn’t stay longer!! This was truly a life changing experience and if you are reading reviews about where to go and for how many days we felt 2 nights was almost perfect for Amboseli. We chose the 4x4 Land Cruiser/jeep and opted for the upper end of lodging and stayed at the Ol Tukai. This added around $500 more to the base tour cost but was 1,000% worth it as this lodge is one of the few located in the park unlike other accommodations listed. This meant we didn’t have to race out of the park at sunset. We could watch elephants and zebras until headlights were needed. This extra time although minimal, was such a bonus. The peaceful end to the each day watching elephants make their way home across the grasses were simply amazing and worth the added cost from this lodge. The facility and food were great too. We ate 3 big meals a day! Our driver Jared was fantastic. We bonded over those few days. He was so personable and learned about his family and had great conversations during the Safari. As for the Masai village tour that is optional we opted to spend more time in the park on our last day which Jared mentioned is totally ok, there was no pressure. It was also an added cost and we felt it wasn’t necessary for our trip. We saw tons of elephants, zebra’s, giraffe’s, gazelle’s, birds, hippos, and even a few lions which our guide has only seen 20% of the time in Amboseli. If you are deciding between the Masai Mara or Amboseli decide how many days you have. We only had time for 2 nights and were satisfied with Amboseli, but if you have enough for 3 or 4 nights could consider Masai. The park never felt crowded. If you are still reading this review just go for it! Once in a lifetime experience spend the money for the tour. It was worth every dollar even though the price could be tough to stomach. Ours was just shy of $2,000 USD but would do it again tomorrow if we could. This tour company is great you will be happy with them!

Our guide went above and beyond to find wild animals and get us brilliant photos. The lodge was beautiful, drinks a good price and great food. Great communication from company. On time pick up. Jeep to ourselves and water provided. Will definitely use again

We booked a 3 day tour to Tsavo East and West. Our driver Omari was excellent. As well as a driver as a guide. He knew where to find the animals and thanks to him we were able to see the big 5. Our last day we saw a group of more than 200 buffalo's running to the water pool. So special. The hotels we stayed were basic but good. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

We got a once in a lifetime experience with African Mosaic Tours. Big thank you to our guide Julius. He was the best guide we could wish for. I highly recommend Africa Mosaic Tours for anyone looking for a amazing Safari experience.
