Day 3
You will have breakfast and a full day to continue with the activities. Experience first-hand the geological forces that unfolded 300 million years ago, when the Fish River began to etch its way through hard quartzite, forming a canyon 90 kilometers long, 549 meters deep, and 28 kilometers wide in some places, making it the world's second-largest canyon. The 45,000-hectare Canyon Nature Park is a natural sanctuary for Karoo succulent flora and endemic wildlife. Optional activities include the Fish River hiking trail, scenic chartered flights, and horseback riding. Day 5
Kolmanskop is eerie, beautiful, mysterious, and bone-chilling all at the same time. If the walls could speak, they’d surely have many stories to share. The town used to be vibrant and rich; miners flocked to Kolmanskop to mine diamonds. By 1956, the whole town was abandoned. Guests have two options while visiting. They can either tour on their own and take photographs or take a guided tour for about an hour to hear the history of the town before exploring on their own. Many people find the tour well worth it. There are many interesting stories they would have missed otherwise. Mid-range guest house located in Lüderitz (Town) All meals included Drinks not included

It is one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa and was declared a National Monument in 1952. Day 14
Guests will have an early breakfast and then depart for Kamanjab. Along the way, they will pass villages of the Herero people, where women are dressed in Victorian-style dresses and headscarves braided to resemble cow horns (the Herero cultural symbol). Namibia is home to most of the world’s remaining cheetahs, and conservation efforts have led to a population increase of nearly 30% in the last decade. Guests will have the opportunity to watch cheetahs during feeding time. We can also visit rock engravings today. Mid-range lodge located in Kamanjab (Village) All meals included Drinks not included

Etosha National Park is one of the most accessible game reserves in Namibia and Southern Africa. The high concentration of big game near the waterholes makes wildlife viewing very rewarding. You might not even need to leave your rest camp to see lions, elephants, rhinos, and various antelope and zebra coming to drink. There will be an afternoon game drive. In the dry season, animals are drawn to the perennial springs and waterholes, offering excellent game viewing. Visitors can expect to see a variety of large mammals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, zebra, and giraffe, along with a diversity of birdlife including flamingoes and pelicans. Mid-range lodge located inside Etosha NP All meals included Drinks not included

Booked a 6 day tour from Windhoek to Etosha National park (2n), Swakopmund (1n) and Sossusvlei (2n), all accommodation camping included, food, transport, guide. It was simply amazing and great value for money. Our guide/driver Martin was like family to us. Took good care of us at all time. The tour company was great too and very accommodating, friendly and good communication throughout the process. Definately recommend the tour company and tour itself.

The 6-Day Etosha, Swakopmund & Sossusvlei tour exceeded my every expectation. My guide, Henzel, was highly professional, engaging, and had a great sense of humor. He made my solo tour not only informative but fun as well. The tour provided the highlights of Namibia within a short time span without feeling rushed. I appreciated the mix of history, nature, and adventure that the itinerary provided. The amount of wildlife seen in Etosha National Park was incredible. I was able to see lions, rhinos, zebras, elephants, a honey badger, and so, so many more. The campgrounds used for lodging, while not luxurious, provided running hot water for showers and good food at the camp restaurants, which was glorious after an adventure-filled day. I do recommend wearing layers as it's cold at night in the winter months as well as bringing a power bank/portable battery charger for convenient charging of electronics. I appreciate Henzel and everyone else at Safari World Tours who made my time in Namibia a once in a lifetime experience!

We did the "7 Days Wildlife Etosha and Sossusvlei Namibian Safari (Accommodated)" with Safari World Tours in December 2023 and it was the best choice for our family! We are experienced travelers (49 countries visited) and found that to travel to Namibia with a small child (4 years old) a tour would the the best option, which now we can recommend 100%. First we asked for the budget and itinerary, then we booked the tour and exchanged a lot of information and Safari World Tours was always very fast to answer and provided all the details we needed. Very professional and trustworthy, their representatives made us feel even before leaving that the trip was well organized. They had a child seat for our daughter to use in the car and were always on time for all the appointments. Our guide Henzel was amazing, the perfect balance between being professional, funny, enthusiastic, informative, knowladgeable and trustworthy. He took care of us the whole trip, drove safely, knew all the local details, assumed the arrangements and left us with the easy task of just enjoying ourselves and this beautiful country. We thought 7 days would feel rushed, but it really didn't. We visited all the places we wanted and still had time to relax by the pool, beach or restaurants. Did some great extra activities as well. All the accommodation booked was high standard and the food was delicious. Couldn't recommend this company more and their responsibility for the success of our Namibia trip! Ask for Henzel, go with your family and you won't regret it ;)
