Family Adventure at Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru was perfect for our family trip with African Hartebeest Safaris Ltd. Patrick was patient and engaging with our kids, making the game drives educational and fun. Flamingos covered the lake in a sea of pink, and we even spotted a black rhino. The Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge was family-friendly, with delicious meals and stunning views.

Exceeded expectations

We travelled with African Hartbeest for 10 days from 24 November until 03 December. From start to finish the experience was faultless. Beverly was extremely helpful, making time for a call to discuss our expectations and putting together an itinerary that she felt would suit us. She was responsive and kept us updated with payment and receipts. Our flight was significantly delayed but that wasn’t a problem and we were picked up and escorted from the airport early in the morning, Beverly even called to ask if we wanted to leave later the following morning. We spent the week with a tour guide named Edwin and he was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the whole tour. We were absolutely gutted to leave Kenya, the whole experience was 10/10 and not only do I want to go back and do it all again, I will happily recommend it to anybody looking for a holiday that surpasses all expectations.

Efficient and personalised service

We had Beverlyn from Hartebeest plan our holiday for us at Masai Mara.She did such a fantastic job with logistics and accommodation at Nairobi and Masai Mara. She organised our all inclusive trip at such a great deal. What a fantastic and memorable holiday it was. Will definitely be using her services in our future travels to Africa wherever she can assist. I had no problems communicating with her as she was always prompt in her reply. Everything went as planned without a single hiccup. Great service.!

Amazing safari, very responsive service

Beverlyn from African Hartebeest Safaris did a great job in organising our safari. We were late in planning the trip, and she sorted out everything in only a couple of days. The safari itself, in Maasai Mara, was amazing. We saw everything we hoped for and more. Our guide Jonathan knew all the good spots. After the safari, we travelled a bit more in Kenya (self-organised). Beverlyn was also great in helping us out then - for example finding drivers on short notice when our own previous plans fell through. The solution was always just a few text messages away. In summary, we can really recommend the experience - very reactive, able to accommodate extra wishes, a true problem-solver, and good value for money.
