5:30 - 6:30 - Your adventure starts with a pickup from Johannesburg in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. 9:00 - Arrive at Pilanesberg for a 3-hour morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, perfect for sightings of the famous Big Five! 12:00 - 14:00 - Arrive at the beautiful Bakubung Lodge for a tasty lunch and a seamless check-in. Take time to relax - soak up the views, enjoy a swim, or simply unwind - before heading out on your sunset safari. 16:00 - 19:00 - Head out in an open safari vehicle as the day cools and the sky turns golden, watching for wildlife in the soft evening light. Early Morning & Sunset 3-Hour Pilanesberg Game Drives
05:30 - 8:30 - Begin the day with a thrilling 3-hour morning game drive in open safari vehicles. Guided by experienced rangers and linked by radio for up-to-the minute wildlife updates, you’ll explore the bush when animals are most active. 09:00 - Return to Bakubung Bush Lodge for a warm, delicious breakfast and then time to relax. Unwind by the swimming pool or explore the sites many facilities. 12:00 - After lunch, lounge around the lodge or continue enjoying the lodges many activities. 16:00 - 19:00 - Depart on a 3-hour sunset game drive in an open vehicle for more wildlife viewing. Final Morning Pilanesberg Game Drive & Return to Johannesburg
05:30 - 8:30 - Rise for a final 3-hour morning game drive in an open safari vehicle. 09:00 - Head back to Bakubung Bush Lodge for a satisfying breakfast, followed by some well-deserved downtime. Spend the morning by the pool or enjoy the lodge’s other on-site amenities. 12:00 – Opt for a short closed-vehicle game drive for a final taste of the wild, or continue relaxing at camp. If skipping the drive, pickup will be at 14:30. 15:00 – Depart Pilanesberg for Johannesburg. A comfort stop will be made en-route for refreshments and rest. Expect to arrive between 17:30 and 18:30.
