Overview
This trip will start by picking you up from Melchior Ndadaye International Airport and be transferred to your booked hotel at Bujumbura city. On the second day, we will drive to Bururi and Rutana respectively for exploring the southern source of the Nile and Karera waterfalls & Nyakazu fault (German fault). We will end up experiencing the nice performance of drummers at Gishora Drummer Sanctuary at Gitega.

Pick you up from Bujumbura International Airport
On that first day, you will meet with our professional guide at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport to take you from there to your booked Hotel (Safari Gate Hotel). Then, he will give you a short pre-briefing of the trip before he leaves you free and let you to rest for preparing the next day trip. Day 2
Exploring Source of Nile, Karera Waterfalls and German Fault
After your breakfast at 6 a.m., you will leave the hotel for heading to Bururi to explore the southern source of the Nile. We will continue to Rutana to visit Karera waterfalls and getting nice view of this Natural Reserve, accommodating those waterfalls by walking and standing on a stable canopy. During the afternoon, we will be heading to another sightseeing which is the Nyakazu fault (German fault). After this special experience, we will drive to Gitega to stay your second night. Day 3
Gishora Drummer Sanctuary and Transfer to the Airport
You will wake up in the morning for breakfast as usual, after that you will be heading to Gishora Drummer Sanctuary to get the cultural history of Burundi and enjoy the drummer performance to relax and refresh your brain. Friendly and knowledgeable
I took a private tour with David and his team around Burundi and Tanzania. I spent most of my time in Bujumbura where David took care of all the accommodation and transportation. Whatever I needed he was able to arrange. We took a tour around Burundi off the beaten paths, visiting Kigwena Forest, Nyanza, Agasumo ka Mwaro waterfall, Karera Waterfall, Gitega, and many local sights. Very immersive tour. In Tanzania we visited Gombe national, had a great chimpanzee hike and amazing boat ride in between.
