Arrive in Gondar and meet your guide before starting the journey to the Simien Mountains. Drive through the small town of Debark, the gateway to Simien Mountains National Park. Enjoy breathtaking views of dramatic cliffs, deep valleys, and rolling highlands along the way. Trek around Sankaber and spot endemic wildlife such as gelada baboons, colorful birds, and stunning mountain scenery. Sankaber – Chenek
After breakfast, continue driving and trekking through the spectacular landscapes of the Simien Mountains. Walk along scenic escarpments and enjoy panoramic views across the rugged mountain ranges. Visit areas where the rare Walia ibex and Ethiopian wolves are often seen in their natural habitat. Arrive at Chenek Camp and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by impressive mountain peaks. Chenek – Debark – Gondar
Wake up early to enjoy the fresh mountain air and beautiful sunrise views over the Simien Mountains. Take a short morning walk around Chenek for more wildlife viewing and unforgettable scenery. Begin the drive back through Debark while admiring the final landscapes of the national park. Arrive in Gondar and transfer to your hotel or the airport to end the tour.
