Day 1
Arrival at Eco Lodge near Kruger National Park
Your 3-day Kruger Eco Lodge safari departs daily from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo Airport. You need to be at the O.R. Tambo bus terminal by 6:45 AM, with departure promptly at 7:00 AM. You'll be travelling east, enjoying scenic views of rolling farmlands and beautiful landscapes en route to our lodge near Kruger National Park. We’ll be making one or two comfortable stops along the way, a perfect time to stretch your legs and buy snacks and refreshments before journeying forward. Your estimated time of arrival (ETA) in Hazyview is around 1 PM. Once you arrive, check into the Eco Lodge and take some time to freshen up and relax. At approximately 3 PM, hop on to an open-sided Land Cruiser for a thrilling 2- to 2.5-hour guided game drive through Kruger National Park. After your exciting safari game drive, you’ll head back to the Eco Lodge to unwind with a refreshing drink and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Day 2
Full-Day Game Drive in Kruger National Park
Start your morning with a warm cup of coffee or tea with rusks before setting out on a full-day game drive in the Skukuza area of Kruger National Park. A packed breakfast is included for your convenience. The game drives take place in specially modified, 9-seater, open-sided Land Cruisers designed for optimal wildlife viewing and photography. After your packed breakfast, the game drive continues until lunchtime. Lunch will be enjoyed at one of the park’s restaurants, at your own expense. After a 45-minute lunch break, we embark on an afternoon safari, further exploring the Kruger's diverse wildlife. Throughout the day, you’ll have ample opportunities to see and photograph a wide variety of wildlife. At the end of the day’s adventure, you’ll return to the chalets where you can unwind before enjoying a delicious dinner at the lodge. Enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay in the Eco Lodge. Return and Drop-Off in Johannesburg
On the final morning of your 3-day Kruger Eco Lodge safari, you’ll have the option to join another early morning sunrise game drive or enjoy a leisurely morning relaxing at the Eco Lodge. Please note, this sunrise game drive is optional and at your own expense. Just before 12 PM, the lodge will arrange your transfer to the shuttle pickup point in Hazyview. From there, you will travel back to Johannesburg with comfort stops along the way. The estimated arrival time at O.R. Tambo Airport is between 5:30 and 6:00 PM. This marks the conclusion of your affordable, yet luxurious and unforgettable 3-Day Kruger Eco Lodge safari experience with Big Bull Safaris.
