There are two ways of getting to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, 341 miles from Kampala City in south-western Uganda. For visitors who wish to relish the most breathtaking views while connecting to the Park can use road transport with 8-9 hours on the road. For travellers that don't have patience on the road can opt for flight to Kisoro and Kihihi Airstrips from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip.

Arrival – take domestic flight to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, clear with immigration and proceed to the departures to wait and catch your domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip where you will meet your guide who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to the Great Apes the Mountain Gorillas and your lodge for overnight stay. Day 2
Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter go to the start points and off into the Impenetrable Forest to enjoy the highlight of the safari. Trekking the Great Apes the Mountain Gorillas is a once in a lifetime and worthwhile experience which takes between 2–6 hours. You will then return to your Lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay. Fantastic experience
I recently took a tour with Jenik Tours and Travel to explore Fort Portal and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The 3-day tour was well-organized and truly immersive. The tour included a mix of must-see attractions and hidden gems that I would have never discovered on my own. The accommodations were comfortable and conveniently located and included food. One of the highlights was the hiking to the Amber caves and to the mountain. The only minor drawback was that the pace was a bit fast on some days, but I understand the need to cover so much in a short time. Basically Jenik tours and travel provided a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable journey. I rate this tour 5/5 stars. Can't wait to book my next adventure with them!
