3-Day Gorilla Trekking in Uganda Through Rwanda
Overview
This 3-day tour will start and end in Kigali with gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park located in South Western Park of Uganda, a 5-hour drive from Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda to Uganda. The first day will be for travelling, then tracking gorillas on the second day and return to Kampala on the third day.

Day 1
Arrive in Kigali Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your tour guide/driver from Ngoni Safaris shall pick you up from Kigali Airport or a hotel within Kigali early in the morning and set off to Southwest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will drive slowly as you spot the differences within Rwanda. You may decide to have lunch on the way. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Rushaga Gorilla Camp. Day 2
Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Experience
After early morning breakfast, walk to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’ts during this activity and thereafter, you will proceed to the gorilla trail. Gorilla tracking normally lasts between 2 to 8 hours or even a day to encounter the gorillas. However, you will be allowed to stay in the presence of these awesome apes for at least an hour. It is advisable that you carry packed lunch as one cannot determine how long it may take to encounter the mountain gorillas. If time and energy allow, you may take a community tour of the Batwa community after the gorilla tracking. Return to your accommodation, and enjoy your evening, dinner and overnight stay. Day 3
Transfer Back to Kigali
After breakfast, you will start your journey back to Kigali. You can opt to buy a few souvenirs and have a quick picnic lunch. You will then drive to Kigali Airport to catch your flights back home. All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Once in a lifetime Experience
It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The diversity of this trip is incredible and hard to beat; we saw the Big 5 and much more. But meeting the gorillas was definitely the highlight for us.
