You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Hoedspruit to Klaserie Game Reserve
You will be met at Hoedspruit Airport for your road transfer to Klaserie Private Game Reserve, where you will stay for two nights in a treehouse at nThambo Tree Camp. In the afternoon, you will participate in your first shared game drive (time permitting). After some animal-watching, you'll return to the lodge for dinner. Transfers from other airports, such as Nelspruit, Phalaborwa, and Johannesburg, can also be arranged at an additional cost. Day 2
Klaserie Game Reserve
The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will wake up before dawn for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then, you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day. When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a delicious hot breakfast and have time to relax. An optional bush walk is on offer after breakfast. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap, and absorb being out in the bush. After high tea, the afternoon game drive will start around 3:30–4:00 PM. It will last for +-3 hours, with a stop somewhere for sundowners. You will return to the lodge in the dark, with a spotlight to look for nocturnal animals. Klaserie Game Reserve - Hoedspruit
After your final morning game drive, time permitting, you'll enjoy a warm breakfast and depart the lodge by road transfer to Hoedspruit Airport.
